This is at least the second time lately we've heard "great game plan", but they didn't execute it. He said they were doing things they've never talked about. So why are they freelancing? No faith in the coaches/game plan, too complicated for this group, coaches unable to teach at this level, no accountability? He did call out Kopp a bit, along with Geronimo and Galloway. But wouldn't be surprised if all three or at least two start the game on Saturday.

We certainly miss XJ, especially on the defensive end, but honestly other than against Xavier and UNC he wasn’t playing all that well this year. In his last four games he shot 7-35 and he had 17 TOs.

Northwestern finished 7-13 in the B1G last year. They lost Pete Nance, who's averaging 11/6 at UNC, and Ryan Young, who's averaging 8/6 at Duke. They added Tydus Verhoeven, who's averaging 2/3 at NW. They lost two ACC starting big men from a back of the pack B1G team. That should have been a disaster for them, yet here they are.
