  1. That whiskey should be nice and aged by now
  2. Some really good stuff in here: RE: TJD “It's been a roller coaster ride for him,” Woodson said. “I've watched him. Really, as of a month ago it was so intense, you could see it in his face. I mean, if these guys would stay the hell away from social media, life might be a little bit better. … “There's a lot of things that are at stake. And I get it. It's a part of playing this game. My whole thing to him is, ‘Hey, you can't wear it. You've got to cherish the moment and still grind and work. You can't run from it.’ And I thought he stepped up big time, man, in the Big Ten tournament. I mean he took it to another level.” RE: XJ “We tried to run a lot of pick-and-rolls (earlier in the season),” Woodson said, “but X wasn’t there yet. X has grown so much that it’s allowed me to play what I came here to play on offense.” when Jackson-Davis came to him asking for a renewed emphasis on the pick-and-roll offense, heavily featuring him alongside Johnson, Woodson listened. “We struggled with the pick-and-roll early on in the season,” Woodson said. “I just kept piecing it in here and there, here and there. And now X, he’s grown. He’s figured it out. … He knows when he’s got it, he knows when he doesn’t have it, and he knows when the lob or the pocket pass is there, the throwback. “All of that takes time.” https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2022/03/14/indiana-basketball-trayce-jackson-davis-wyoming-ncaa-tournament-march-madness-2022-ncaa-iu-hoosiers/7034322001/
  3. The worst scenario is to play in the title game and lose.
  4. VA has no inside presence. Their top four scorers are all guards. AF's 2 pt % improved, but his 3 pt % dropped back to 26%, where he was as a Freshman. I think he benefited from TJD and Race last year.
  5. Damezi Anderson, technically yes at Loyola, but he's appeared in four games in two seasons. Didn't play this year. Really pleased for AD. The others, couldn't care less.
  6. Maybe spot minutes in rotation with TJD and Race. He wouldn't play ahead of either. LaSalle is 11-19 and was 12th in the A10. He's 6'10, 240 and shoots 24% from 3. Not sure he would give us anything we don't get from Durr, who's a bigger body.
  7. That's a good point, but sometimes you have some really good players at small schools & mid-majors that no one has heard of until they have a breakout in the NCAAT. Wyoming just isn't going to get much coverage When Rick Majerus was at Utah, I recall him saying that their radio signal reached more sheep than people.
  8. And it said in article that Hastings only had 7 players due to COVID
  9. We really need RP to find his shot, but we obviously can't count on that.
  10. Wonder if anyone on IU's staff would reach out to Steve Alford for a scouting report? Same conference. Played WY twice.
  11. Well, he did get interviewed, but not hired, for the IU AD job....
  12. They lost they’re B12 tourney game to TX Tech 72-41
  13. And winner of Rutgers/ND travels to San Diego. The NCAA is all about the student/athlete.
  14. Iowa outplaying PU but missing wide open shots. Wonder about their legs in fourth game. We made them really work yesterday
  15. If the metrics mean anything it has to be Rutgers. 77 NET, 74 KenPom
  16. Rutgers will be a challenge for the committee. They are 6-6 in Quad 1 games, same as Illinois. IU is 4-7. But their NET ranking is 78, way below the cut line for an at-large.
  17. Right. This was his tweet last night. Jerry Palm @jppalmCBS · 7h Replying to @KevinBrockwayG1 I have not updated the bracket online since IU was 19-12. Next update in the morning.
