  1. Mike White just told his wife they’re moving to Mississippi
  2. Yeah, I thought that play and the next with TG’s steal and fumble out of bounds would be our death. We should have easily extended the lead from 1 to 5.
  3. Chris and Keegan swapped jerseys in that game. They were just screwing with us
  4. He’s busy ordering Kansas ST gear, so he can continue to support Underwood
  5. SI (Kevin Sweeney) just moved IU up to one of the last four byes (11 seed) along with MI. He has Rutgers in first four out.
  6. IA was 25-27 on FTs today against Rutgers. Combined with their 3 Pt shooting, that would be impossible to overcome, especially if they would get any kind of meaningful lead. How the game is called will be big.
  7. If Rob could knock down some wide open threes, IU would be really dangerous
  8. Key to the game today was TJD playing Kofi to a draw. That allowed other guys to do enough to get the win. Trayce attacked him and did a great job of blowing by him on the baseline. TJD was too quick for Kofi.
  9. Right and we have more rebounds, more assists and doubled them in points in the paint. Fouls should be reversed
  10. You'll probably be disappointed. Kofi has been allowed to lead with his elbow all year.
  11. I don’t know him and didn’t speak with him. Just saw them.
  12. In the Bradenton/Sarasota FL area.
  13. From an article at the time. It was the rule then to only take two teams from the same conference. Purdue, which was picked in the preseason to finish seventh in its conference, earned a share of the title with Iowa and Michigan State largely because Carroll emerged as an offensive star. Purdue's 27-7 overall record is second best in the Big Ten, but the Boiler-makers were not invited to the NCAA tournament because their record against Iowa and Michigan State was 1-3, and the NCAA takes only two from a conference.
  14. Totally different era too. In 79, IU won the NIT over a Purdue team that was 27-8 and tied MI ST (national champ) and IA for 1st in B1G but didn’t get an invite to the NCAAT.
  15. Saw Dickie V and his wife at church last week. It was good to see him out and about.
  16. Worst record to ever get an at large bid is 18-14. MI is 17-14
  17. We are slow and can’t shoot. Need a total roster rebuild
  18. In the past 12 years, Penn St won the NIT twice and Minnesota once. Neither team has the same coach as the one who won it. PSU's wins were by two different coaches. Baylor in 2013 was the only NIT winner that has really built on it. TX won in 2019, but changed coaches afterwards (Shaka jumped ship). Memphis won last year, so it remains to be seen if their late season run this year is real. Some other recent NIT champs: TCU, George Washington, Stanford. Since the NCAAT expanded, the NIT is a tournament for mediocre, bubble teams at best. You obviously play if invited, but it's meaningless.
  19. Seems like Syracuse does that every year, get on a roll at the end. The ACC is so weak (ND is the 2 seed!), Syracuse could play their way in, unless Buddy gets suspended
