  1. If you save a bit more you can go on to Madison and add Davison to your bucket list
  2. But MI did play Seton Hall, AZ and UNC in their non-con. And lost to all of them, blown out by last two.
  3. Yeah, Bilis said the at large bids should be locked before the conference tourneys. If that was the rule, if I was coaching a team that was a lock for a bid, I’d rest my starters in the conference tournament. It would be a joke. That said, it’s hard to see where late conference tourneys impact seeding much. IA for example.
  4. I’ve felt this for a while. Their margin for error is so small. Trying to win so many games in the 60’s is so tough. Defense has carried them
  5. IU is like an NBA team in the 5th game of a west coast road trip
  6. Oh, they’ve been bad as well. But having Bates come in an miss fall away turnaround jumpers won’t help.
  7. Yes, as they said in the pre-game, IU has been playing tournament bball for two weeks
  8. The Bohannon’s listening to his first IA game
  9. Really want to see JG improve his handle. Don't want him stuck in the interior.
  10. He’s a lefty with range to 15 feet. Draws a lot of fouls. MAC freshman of the year.
  11. Wouldn’t be surprised if OSU is looking at him
  12. Wright ST & Bryant is an entertaining game. Much better than the 16 seeds last night
  13. No idea. Also don't know how it would be affected by current NCAA agreements with member schools
  14. I think the NIT should consider dropping invitations to major conferences. I know they already take the regular season champs from one-bid leagues (if they lose their conference tourney), but they could increase the invitations to mid major conferences and small one-bid leagues. There are a number of teams from the one-bid leagues, with 20+ wins that didn't get a bid to either NCAAT or NIT. It would mean a lot more to those teams to have a shot at getting to MSG and winning a tourney than bubble teams from P5 conferences that are bitter about not getting in the NCAAT.
  15. I think XJ fell back into a bad habit that he had at times this year. When he sees everyone else shooting poorly, he falls into the trap of thinking he has to carry a lot of the scoring. He isn't entirely wrong in that, but it causes him to force some plays and shots.
  16. Wyoming was 11-6 in Quad 1 & 2 (4-5 Quad 1). A&M was 9-10 Quad 1&2 (4-10 Quad 1).
  17. They lost home games to NET 93 SC and NET 149 MO, both teams fired their coaches.
  18. I just don't think it can be overstated what that last 11 minute comeback against MI meant for this program. Just a complete turnaround to the trajectory of the season. If that doesn't occur and IU loses that game by about 20, it would have been a disaster. It would have been the ninth straight loss to MI and another early exit of the BTT. IU would have missed the NCAAT for the sixth consecutive season and would have been sent to the NIT, that no one, including probably the players, care about. It would have been a dismal end to a season of missed opportunities and raised a lot of questions about whether there was any hope for improvement next season. Wow, what a change that run in the BTT meant.
