as much as i think Woodson is a terrible coach, the only thing Howard had over him was Martelli and actually having the sense to listen to him.  

now that we're up to 14 players in the portal tracker, i would be curious to hear more assessments/opinions about ranking them in order of how we should want them.  i think tiers too.  who would we take today if they said yes and who should we take a flyer on until we see who else enters?  i get caught up in rankings for sure.

i am hoping that we jump on Fidler, Slajchert, Williams, Ajayi, Leffew, and Carlyle the minute they'd say they want to come.

we didn't start this thread only to give up when it seems like the chips were down.  just because someone released a statement that he would be the coach next season doesn't change that many of us think he needs to be fired.  plus we have an attainable goal here.  are we saying that the Moses Abraham thread is the all time longest?  did we ever confirm how long that was?

If fans go silent then they’re complacent and they’re saying “oh well we are what we are.” That’s the defeatist attitude that has us where we are already. If I hear one more ignorant fan saying “IU isn’t IU anymore and we need to move on and accept it” I’m gonna PUKE. IU still has everything to be a yearly top 10 program.

i want a new coach and im not ok otherwise. And if more fans had a “screw you I'm not taking it ANYMORE attitude” it would catch on and change would be forced. I’m not buying another IU anything till we get our 💩 together and take this seriously.

sadly i think you're right, but it still annoys me.  we are far from the only team turning it down.  seems to be the new thing like players skipping college football bowl games.  hate both things.  why not wait to open either portal until each team's season is completely finished?  also not let coaches talk with other schools until that time?  i mean in theory we could have played with Cupps, Leal, Galloway, Taco, Reneau, Sparks, and walk ons right?  possibly Ware?  i just like having IU bball to watch.

i can't decide what i want here.  would love to see Slimey Calamari shamefully sent out, but i've never been convinced that he is a very good coach other than the ability to get major talent.  would a new guy do a better job?  maybe better for us if they keep him?
