  1. fell asleep 😔really happy to have a game tonight.  it seemed obvious that all X was out to do was set his teammates up.  that is huge.  we're about 99% sure Galloway will still be out tonight correct?  oh well, there's always a chance.

Mike Woodson says that Mike Woodson is facing one of the most monumental coaching challenges in Mike Woodson’s career. Fortunately Mike Woodson has done the job Mike Woodson was hired to do.

Mike Woodson can't get them over the hump because Mike Woodson isn't out there shooting shots or making plays.  Mike Woodson is doing the best job Mike Woodson can do.  It's not on Mike Woodson.  What is Mike Woodson supposed to do when Galloway is unexpectedly injured and they only have 12 scholarship players.  If you think this is on Mike Woodson, clearly you sir are not a true fan!

  3. i'm not sure why people feel confident about this one, but i hope you're right!  i get that we are playing well recently, but haven't exactly played great teams.  if Galloway is out (which i thought was a definite?)  i have a hard time being confident when we are 0-2 against them this season.  as for the XJ/Galloway thing - i would rather have Trey than X if i had to pick.

  4. I am really ready for a game!  I was actually feeling optimistic about winning these first two rounds.  Then my terrible memory made me look up the results of our first two games vs PSU.  Then I was thinking given the choice, I'd rather be missing X than Galloway. Now I'm bummed, but still excited for an IU bball game.

Is so, it’s extremely unfortunate. However, this gives X a monster opportunity to show he can help this team moving forward. You could tell at the end of the Michigan State game that he was elated we one, but the look on his face showed how disappointed he was in his overall performance. Had we lost that game, he would have taken the brunt of that, even though Trey was hurt. It was definitely bitter sweet. His overall play was awful, but his positioning and last play save the win.

a big part of me being wrong about how good this team would be is how bad he has been.  even when healthy, he has just not been good.  he somehow manages to push all of the wrong buttons.  as down as i am about him, i promise i was giving him a ton of credit coming in.  unfortunately he was not good before the injury and hasn't been good after.  now we can say he is better than the other possibilities on this roster, but i'm not even sure about that.  i still contend that he gets out of position defensively as much or more than anyone.  i still contend that he kills the offense even when he is playing fairly well.  what's even more discouraging though is that now we need him to play huge minutes and Leal is the only option off the bench right?  or will Gunn actually play?  either way, ugh.  oh well, we'll see soon enough!  sure wish we had another scholarship open that we could have used on another guard.

  6. i would really really like to be shocked with an NCAA bid this season.  now to be clear - when i saw this roster, i thought we could be a top 25 team, 20 + win team, and definitely in the tourney.  anyway, with the way this season has gone, i wrote that off a long time ago.  now that said, i am very worried about beating even Penn St. without Galloway.  not because i think he is a stud.  it's just who gets that role?  i mean i guess we start our wonderful leader XJ, Cupps, Taco, Reneau, Ware... then Leal and Walker off the bench?
