So I just looked up the top 25 rankings to see where we were...we are now unranked. Kind of stunning considering we opened at #2.

So, since we haven't gotten our nightly update from our resident Cardinals fan about their winning streak, I'm gonna guess they finally lost?

I've always been a little skeptical of the postseason odds on ESPN. A couple weeks ago, they had the Red Sox, Yankees and Blue Jays all at 60% or higher to make the playoffs. They now have the Blue Jays at 18%, even though they're only 1 game behind the Red Sox (75%).

Irsay's biggest problem is that he tries too hard to not be like his dad. Bob Irsay was a jackass that no one wanted to work for, so Jim tries to be a family man who gives everyone more rope than they deserve. He wants the organization to be like one big happy family where everybody loves everybody. He desperately wanted Grigson and Pagano to work because Grigson was like a son to him. Ballard and Reich are probably more qualified for their jobs than Grigson and Pagano were, but Irsay isn't going to move on from either of them until something seismic happens.

The Ballard/Reich honeymoon is just about done, IMO.

I don't miss the false start/illegal shift penalties we'd get as a result of everyone trying to move too fast. WKU got one last night when they tried to snap the ball before our defense was set and I laughed because that's what it reminded me of.

3 hours and 45 minutes to grind out a 2 point win. That was rough.

It would help if we'd quit losing yards on first down.

We finally stop them and they get a freaking 60 yard punt to flip the field.

WKU has looked like the quicker and more athletic team since the first quarter.

Regardless of outcome, it feels like the magic we had last year is gone and we're not getting it back.

This is silly. Can't believe anyone still thinks we could hang with OSU, Michigan or Penn State.

Did we scout their offense? Sure doesn't look like it.

Can we please get the defense we had on the opening series? I liked that defense more.

Halftime in college football games needs to be about 45 minutes shorter.

Penix just doesn't make good decisions. Throwing a fadeout just wastes time. Not to mention everything he's thrown toward the end zone tonight has been overthrown.

Usually when it takes this long, it means the call is getting overturned. Hope we don't get screwed here.

Defense has been atrocious tonight.

They keep spotting it a yard short of where we actually had the ball.
