Everything I feared about the Iowa/Purdue matchup is coming to fruition. Iowa coming off an emotional win, Purdue coming off a bye week, and Purdue having their number recently. 14-7 Purdue at the half. Iowa looks completely dead and they can't cover Purdue's receivers.

It's amazing how Iowa always sh*ts the bed when they play Purdue. Just missed a 25 yard field goal after a 17 play drive. 7-0 Purdue with 11 minutes to go in the half.

As I watched us struggle against WKU a few weeks ago, my gut feeling was that I was watching a 4-8 team. The schedule is killer, I get that...but we just don't have the swagger or confidence we had a year ago, and I don't think we're getting it back.

It would take a pretty huge break for us to pull this out. Tuttle is so bad I can't see us going 70+ yards.

I've seen about enough of Jack Tuttle. He's directly responsible for about 70% of MSU's points today.

This team is just exhausting.

I've reached the point where I just mute the audio or follow on game tracker. So many of these announcers just make my skin crawl.

Can't wait to see us open the fourth quarter with a 2 yard pass on 3rd and 3.

They're over-ranked. They're a better team than we are, but they aren't really the #10 team in the country.

This offense is horrendous. Feels like the progress we made the past two seasons is slowly being undone each week.

Leaving as many points on the field as this team does every week typically isn't one of the hallmarks of a good team.

Bluffton dressed 19 players tonight and beat Lakeland 33-29.

They really weren't that good this year until something that had about a 1% chance of happening miraculously happened over the last few weeks. This is why I laugh at people who say "you can't fire the coach when he just won such and such." Of course you can.

Fans of private schools humble-bragging are among the most annoying type of person I've encountered on the Internet. (No one here has done that, but it's why I like to rag on private schools.)

I've noticed this for years. I've never quite figured out if it's because defenses are just worn out by that stage of the game, offenses just stay on the field longer because they have 4 chances to get a first down instead of 3, or if offenses are just making plays. Then you have the timely pass interference calls that always seem to come when certain QB's need them.

Among other things, the Colts need a new kicker. Blankenship just isn't good enough.

Season's done if the Colts blow this game. You just can't keep leaving points on the field like they do every week and expect to survive in this league.

Does anyone on this defense actually know how to cover a receiver?

It would still be a 2 score game if Blankenship hadn't missed that PAT earlier.

I hate that a 43 yard field goal attempt is considered "an adventure" for an NFL kicker.

The Colts have to be leading the NFL in red zone possessions resulting in no points.

I wonder if they added a second exhibition game so he'd be back sooner? Crean did that one year when like half the team got suspended for failed drug tests over the summer so he'd have everyone back in the lineup for that big-time showdown with top 25 SMU.

Oh, I've never tried to post. I gave up trying to register after 3 attempts and hearing nothing from the administrators. Might need to break out the WD-40. That sh*t can fix anything.

Working now. Looks like they found some bubble gum and duct tape to patch up the leaks.
