Just what I feared. I hate that we need warm and cozy Assembly Hall to look good.

This is what we're saying when we say Purdue doesn't draw well on a national level. We're talking about name-brand recognition and the ability to attract viewers. I think you actually agree with us, but since you don't like it, you always respond with "agree to disagree."

You always "agree to disagree" when this topic comes up, but you never give any reasons why.

We scored 94 points in conference games and got shut out in the second half of every game in November. We had 4 consecutive three and outs in the Michigan game. A change was badly needed here, in addition to everything else.

Got a kick out of this comment from an OSU fan: "Buckeyes win the next 3 easily." Is OSU going to play in 3 bowl games? Did he mistakenly think they were playing next weekend, and then on to the CFP? Is he expecting the CFP to take a page out of the Big Ten's playbook, change the rules and allow 8 teams into this year's playoff? Is he expecting one more win and then two wins to start next season? I wish I could find out how many hotel reservations in Indy have been cancelled for next weekend.

Ice cold take. OSU football fans dealing with the existential crisis of losing a football game is perhaps my most under-appreciated form of sports schadenfreude. Hope they can find something productive to do next weekend.

OSU will win easily. They left Michigan in their dust years ago and haven't looked back.

I'm not sure I'd call a game on November 30th a must win game for anybody, but from an optics standpoint, it's pretty important for us to not look bad in this one.

I didn't like it. I really, really wanted Stevens, and against my better judgment, allowed myself to believe we had gotten him. It just felt like we swung for the fences and admired it, thinking we had hit a home run, only to watch it bounce off the wall and end up being a long single.
