  1. Fans don't dictate results. We lose games because we have soft players and our culture stinks. Really that simple.
  2. It's already starting to set in for me. We have a very lame resumé and we've lost our most significant games. Maybe we still make the NCAA's but I doubt it. Seems like no matter how many times we change coaches, the results just don't improve. This program is broken and I'm not sure how it ever gets fixed.
  3. I don't want to say I'm off the Woodson bandwagon, but at this point, I know where the exit is. This is horrible.
  4. Why? You gonna go argue with the IU fans on that board too?
  5. If that's forward progress stopped, then Barry Sanders needs to give back about 800 yards.
  6. He wasn't down. You can be on top of someone and play continues. Neither of his knees ever hit the ground. That was a touchdown.
  7. Absolutely terrible. If sports karma is a thing, I'm just going to hope this results in Purdue getting hosed at a key moment next season.
  8. Barring a turnover, I think Purdue wins this.
  9. Tennessee's entire defense should be ashamed of themselves. They've been horrendous all game. It's like they didn't even scout Purdue's offense.
  10. I don't know how anyone who's followed this program in recent memory would be expecting anything but a struggle. My biggest fear is we get an early lead, PSU starts getting chippy, then we get soft and come unraveled.
  11. Tennessee is dicking around and letting Purdue stay in the game.
  12. Wasn't a difficult prediction to make. Our administration might say they want a strong basketball program, but I think they're inherently lazy and don't like the work that goes into making that happen, especially if it means acting quickly or thinking outside the box on anything. The events staff is probably happy to have the night off.
  13. If they're afraid of exposure, then why play any games at all? The PSU game could be rescheduled. This one can't. Very strange, like a lot of decisions this school makes.
  14. Predictable. What could be the reasons we aren't looking for a game? Does the team not want to play? Does the administration not want the hassle of the logistics involved with scheduling someone last minute? It makes very little sense to me how Bellarmine and Valparaiso would have opponents cancel on them at the same time as IU, yet IU comes out and says it's not looking for a replacement game.
  15. Kentucky had games with OSU and Louisville cancelled and replaced them with games against North Carolina and Western Kentucky. I'd like to think we're competent enough that we could convince Bellarmine or Valparaiso to come here. But I could totally see our administration doing nothing at all.
  16. I get that. Just frustrated that these bureaucracies have so much power and people are still acting like it's March of 2020.
  17. Or we could just stop testing people who aren't sick, but that makes too much sense and threatens the bureaucracies Covid has created and enabled.
  18. It might help us for the first 10 minutes or so, but beyond that, I doubt it matters. We HAVE to start strong in this game. If I'm Woodson, I'm beating it into their heads these next few days that we have to come out and stomp them early, even though these guys aren't really wired to do that to anyone.
  19. I hate that we have to hope the game will even be played, and that the state of our program has us in a spot where making the tournament gets harder if the game isn't played.
  20. It wouldn't surprise me if some of them do that because their grades aren't good and classes get harder when you're an upperclassman.
  21. There was a lot of chatter when he committed that he was only going to be here for 2 years, even if it meant going undrafted. Woodson's biggest offseason victory was convincing him and his dad to stay here. I hate the mindset that's started to permeate the college basketball landscape, that guys who have any chance of playing professionally don't benefit from college. But TJD could have gone to play for Jackie Moon and the Flint Tropics and that probably would have been better than another year of Archie-ball.
  22. Kyler Murray played Pop Warner football in 2005. Damn, that makes me feel old.
  23. I know they're missing key guys but the offensive line has been terrible tonight.
  24. Cincinnati set a record high today. Indianapolis was 1 degree short of tying its record. As usual, northern Indiana was running about 10-15 degrees colder than those areas and we only hit the mid-50's.
