Powerful storm systems in winter often have three sections: heavy snow, rain, and severe weather. This time of year, northern Indiana is almost always in what I like to call "the screw zone." They got there in the most Purdue-way possible: everyone ahead of them in the rankings losing in the first 3 weeks, then nearly blowing a home game where they were favored by double digits to a team that was missing one of its top players.

Just looked at the play by play and the backcourt turnover was given to Lander. That's crap. It was a terrible pass from Race.

I wanted to scream when Race left his feet to pass it to Lander, resulting in a backcourt violation. If you have to leave your feet to make a pass, it's probably a bad decision.

This is so incredibly disappointing. We're getting blown out by a 3-3 team that lost to Colgate. I so wanted to believe we finally had a team capable of playing tough, hard-nosed, smart basketball away from home...but we don't.
