I don't miss the false start/illegal shift penalties we'd get as a result of everyone trying to move too fast. WKU got one last night when they tried to snap the ball before our defense was set and I laughed because that's what it reminded me of.

3 hours and 45 minutes to grind out a 2 point win. That was rough.

It would help if we'd quit losing yards on first down.

We finally stop them and they get a freaking 60 yard punt to flip the field.

WKU has looked like the quicker and more athletic team since the first quarter.

Regardless of outcome, it feels like the magic we had last year is gone and we're not getting it back.

This is silly. Can't believe anyone still thinks we could hang with OSU, Michigan or Penn State.

Did we scout their offense? Sure doesn't look like it.

Can we please get the defense we had on the opening series? I liked that defense more.

Halftime in college football games needs to be about 45 minutes shorter.

Penix just doesn't make good decisions. Throwing a fadeout just wastes time. Not to mention everything he's thrown toward the end zone tonight has been overthrown.

Usually when it takes this long, it means the call is getting overturned. Hope we don't get screwed here.

Defense has been atrocious tonight.

They keep spotting it a yard short of where we actually had the ball.

We're getting horrible spots from this crew.

That's not grounding. He was out of the pocket.

They completely forgot to cover our tight end and we gain 5 yards on 3rd and 7.

They had to announce it was a first down. That doesn't happen when the ball is spotted properly.

The broadcasters think we're faking injuries to slow down the WKU "freight train" offense. Nice.

Your subtle remarks about injuries haven't gone unnoticed. We get it, poor Purdue just can't have healthy players like everyone else.

Not to mention they wasted a timeout just to give the ball back.

Again, great decision by Illinois to punt the ball. Nothing screams "we want this game" like punting when you only need 2 yards.

Illinois should have gone for it. Weak move to punt it there.

He had an incredible debut last year. Granted, it was against Illinois, but the numbers were staggering. I thought Wisconsin had their QB for the next few years. Looking like that's actually a weakness now.
