Incredibly fluky, but also fatal. There was still an inning to go, but the game was done after that play. I had a feeling this team's lack of offense would catch up with it. I saw the last two innings of a game the other night, and one of the broadcasters said the team's batting average in the Olympics was .156. WTF?

Would have been nice of the softball team to bring their bats to the Olympics. Shut out in the gold medal game, scored 10 runs in 6 games.

I'm enjoying the games. It's a lot more fun to watch sports again, see the success stories and learn about sports that aren't popular here than to constantly be angry about an athlete's behavior during the anthem.

I am very curious how NBC puts together their broadcast schedule. How does a water polo match between two European countries get shown over a USA basketball game (result notwithstanding)?

Apparently the U.S. lost an exhibition game to Nigeria. WTF?

Not bad for a team that didn't play its first game until February and played about 20 fewer games than everybody else. 10 championships now for the K's. I distinctively remember them winning their fifth, and thinking how cool it was to support another team with 5 banners. Great organization.
