  1. No, the and-1 he just got on an everyday drive to the hoop and the and-1 from the foul line where he wasn't touched.
  2. Never thought I'd see Sasha Stefanovic getting star calls.
  3. The same thing happened against Maryland. We had the ball and a 10 point lead with 29 seconds left. All we had to do was get the ball across halfcourt and run out the clock. But of course, we turned it over and they got a layup.
  4. I wonder if we can beat MSU. I think we can. I've been told that Archie Miller has Tom Izzo's number. I mean, he's beaten him three straight times. THREE STRAIGHT TIMES!!! That's a long winning streak against one team for this program.
  5. Reminds me of that game at Michigan awhile back where we went from being down 17-6 to up 48-25.
  6. It's funny because everyone was writing Michigan's obituary last spring after they had a recruit decommit, another one pick Arizona State over them, and had a couple dudes transfer.
  7. Hoping that turns into a sneaky good win for us. I believe they've given Arizona its only loss as well.
  8. The Texans, being the Texans, are about to give up the lead.
  9. Not about Covid directly, but maybe a byproduct of it...has anyone else experienced very poor service from fast food restaurants recently? In the last few weeks, I've gotten takeout from Chik-fil-A, Dairy Queen and Pizza Hut, and all three of those places screwed up my order. Dairy Queen got it wrong after I read it back to them a second time, and STILL got it wrong when I brought my food back to show them it wasn't what I ordered. Am I just unlucky? I keep hearing about how these restaurants are struggling to find good help, and it made me wonder if the masks are distracting employees and actually preventing them from doing their best work.
  10. I watched about half of the games between Rutgers-Purdue and Iowa-Northwestern last night. We have 8 games against those 4 teams. Does anyone honestly think we win more than 2? Rutgers scored 81 without their best player. We typically struggle to break 60 in this league even when we have everyone healthy.
  11. Holy crap, I knew Purdue's schedule was easy with Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin once, but they also only play Rutgers and Northwestern once. We play all of those teams twice except Wisconsin.
  12. Rutgers has kind of had its way with Purdue athletics the last couple years.
  13. If that "foul" that sent Hunter to the line for 3 shots was a foul, then Ivey should have been ejected earlier.
  14. Dang, Luka Garza has more points than minutes played this year.
  15. Woah, they actually called a foul on Purdue. 9-4 in the Boilers' favor in the second half.
  16. Not too often you see a Big Ten game where the home team has been called for twice as many fouls. That "common foul" on Ivey should have counted for 3.
  17. In what world is that foul on Ivey not a flagrant? Ridiculous.
  18. Rutgers really stinks at playing with a lead. Blew a 16 point lead in the second half at Ohio State last week, just coughed up a 15 point lead over Purdue by giving up a 23-6 run.
  19. 2nd time in the last 5 games Purdue's opponent's leading scorer has been out.
  20. Who we gonna beat? With our style of play, nothing comes easily.
  21. I see a lot of people wondering why players shoot so many 3's instead of attacking the basket. There are probably many reasons, but this is one of them.
  22. And of course, we only play them once this year, at OSU, and it's not until February 13th, so Liddell and Towns will likely be back by then.
  23. Their best win is Notre Dame. They beat Cleveland State by 6 and UMass-Lowell by 10 after trailing in the second half.
  24. Their leading scorer and rebounder was out.
