This line from the article was laughable. Brad Davison being treated unfairly by the refs? Are you kidding me?

Potter called out Gard for not having players’ backs, specifically Davison’s. Players — and some fans — felt Davison was being treated unfairly by Big Ten officials.

And Potter specifically mentions Davison, yet Davison decides to return for another year of emotional trauma. Maybe Wisky should send guys on their way after 4 years instead of letting them hang around for 5 or 6.

Want warm and fuzzy? There’s a Build-A-Bear at the local mall.

I fully realize that the days of Bob Knight’s methods are over, and in some circumstances, that may not be such a bad thing. But there's a hell of a big difference between supporting someone and handing things to them on a silver platter. You can walk that line of being a hardass without it being abusive.

I'm sure it's been said many times, but I'm glad we have someone like Mike Woodson that knows where that line is. You've heard the word "family" brought up a lot when it comes to the culture he's building. He's going to give players every tool they need to succeed. But there's also zero doubt as to who mom, dad, judge and executioner is within this family. The telling thing to me was the story about Dale Davis meeting with Coach and his only words to Trayce after walking out were "You're staying".  How does it get any better than that?

If that happened here, I'll gladly take another year of Kyle Taber-types starting again. And I think Coach Woodson would oblige.

Pretty sure it was his step father that said that, not Dale. Still cool though.

Maybe Purdue was his dream school all along and no one likes to admit it. Kinda funny he reminds me a lot of Collin Gillespie of Villanova....but he isn't 6'3...and that might be all the difference in getting that offer or not. So he took Purdue.

In an article in the Indy Star, it said Smith contacted some family friends in the coaching community and asked if they thought he could play at Purdue. They supposedly assured him he could and BS said it just reaffirmed what he thought. To me it sounded like he had some doubts about his ability to play in the Big 10 so it doesn't surprise me that he didn't pursue an offer from Nova or Gonzaga.

I've been following this story since it started. 17 states have now declared an emergency. The original thinking was everything should be on line in a few days and with many terminals at capacity, it would be a non issue. It is really the hoarding and panic buying that created problems so far. Now the biq question is how long will it last. It's supposed to be largely resolved by the weekend. You can look for gas here- https://tracker.gasbuddy.com/

Even though Kentucky is not affected, they are still hoarding-

Yeah, the panic buying will prolong this. Patrick DeHaan of  Gasbuddy said that tanker trucks deliver supply that normally lasts 3-5 days and now it's being bought up in just a few hours.  I read somewhere that that picture was taken in Mexico a couple of years ago.

I'm about as skeptical as you but from everything I've heard he is a very good student and is also weighing his NBA options. I'd be shocked if he doesn't at least finish up his semester at UK while continuing to get his draft analysis before making any decision about leaving school. Be tough enough to be the black kid in school that called out the University for having Rupps name on the basketball arena but to add being the kid that did that plus the one that is also transferring to Indiana in the fall and I wouldn't want to go to class after that.

Yeah, I read on one of the boards that he didn't want to be in KY when he announced going to the portal. I think they gave a mid May date. A newer rumor had him staying at UK. I would have loved to have him but I don't want to see anybody forced out to get him.

  6. The CDC recommends you NOT take any pain relievers before the shot to ward off any side effects. They are not sure if they affect how the vaccines work. Taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or acetaminophen is ok after the vax to treat any side effects.
