  1. Social media can be a great tool but I largely stay away from it. I just wonder if alot of the hateful vile stuff people type is internet tough talk or if they really live their life that way. Sad if they do.
  2. It's just part of the game in most situations. Recievers are most vulnerable. Anything that happens within 5 or so yards of the line of scrimmage is not intentional. I played on offensive/defensive line from 3rd grade until I graduated high school. Banging heads us part of the game. Only once, my senior year, did I experience what would constitute targeting on a kickoff return. Some asshole hit me with his head in my head from behind. I thought I was blind for a minute but my sight came back after a bit. One of my teammates told me the guys number. We were getting our ass kicked anyway so I finally got ahold of the dude and made him pay for it dearly. Yeah I got a penalty and the last thing he got was a thumb in the eye. Lol. Among other things.
  3. Add 1 more loss to that record. What is their overall record?
  4. Which offensive players? Targeting needs to go away and fundamental football needs to be brought back. There were equivalent penalties before this stupid amiguish rule.
  5. The targeting rule should only apply to the assholes in the defensive secondary that use their bodies as human torpedoes to drill recievers coming through the middle. When I played I was taught to wrap up and tackle. When did that quit being taught.
  6. Extension ladders make me think of Clark Griswold. Hard no. Just can't do it.
  7. I'm weird about heights, and I for some reason like roofing, wtf right. I can sit 20+ feet up in a tree stand. Jump from a 30 ft cliff into a river. I can do roofing as long as it's a 10 pitch or below. I don't do ladders. I can barely do a 2 step step stool.
  8. I thought we would beat them harder but they don't suck. Their QB followed their 1st year Offensive Coordinator to WKU. So a low learning curve. WKU will get a bowl game this year.
  9. Looks good though. You are quite the handyman. I do fine myself but am a much better repair man. Specifically mechanical work.
  10. Y'all must be little. Squeezing through a half open door would give me an anxiety attack.
  11. Used almost every receiver on the roster. 0 touchdown throws. At least no offensive turnovers. No takeaways by defense though. That worries me. Defense created alot of turnovers last season.
  12. Here is one example from Australia. For not wearing a mask. Video showed police officer holding woman around the neck, sweeping her to the ground and kneeling on her back
  13. Either people are willfully ignorant or sticking their head up their asses. The one thing the powers that be need is for people to be divided. Well, they overplayed their hand and people are tired and frustrated and are uniting. All I know is I won't give up anything if you know what I mean😉.
  14. For some reason I'm craving spaghetti now.
  15. I was thinking more about the multiple touchdowns called back by penalties and them scoring on a screen play on 3rd and 46. Holy hell.
  16. Thank God I only got dollar dances a few times. Had a pentecostal friend that went down the rabbit hole and racked up some credit card debt.
  17. Ha. Was called Stephanie's cabaret when I was the. A very low rent place.
  18. I went to USI too. Graduated 2008.
  19. I've got #4 covered. 5 acres in Vermillion County Illinois.
  20. A REALLY REALLY good employer. I honestly feel guilty in a way because I don't feel like I deserve this. I work 3 days a week 12 hrs Friday- Sunday and make almost 6 figures. I just try to give back and share some of my good fortune to the community.
  21. My company is hiring like crazy. They are having a hard time finding qualified chemists. We are short on chemists in Bloomington, pretty much everywhere. I've offered to train in chemistry to help them out. Send me your resume if you want and I will help you. PM incoming.
  22. I've been very fortunate to basically had paid vacations for summer college jobs. I've been to 42 different continental states. Most of my life has been within 45 miles of my hometown and Bloomington. That said, of all the places I've been, My top 3, Montana, Wyoming, New Hampshire. 2nd place South Dakota, and Omaha Nebraska. Only because my company offered me a position with a relocation package to Omaha. Nope.
  23. If it was closer I'd be down. Been wanting to see Metallica for years but just don't think I'd fit in with the crowd. As always anything Metallica. It should have been Lars. RIP Cliff Burton. FU Lars.
