My mom bought a pound of Swiss and a pound of corned beef for her husband. My 3rd dad, lol. Well he didn't like it so I've been eating on it this week. I mean, I like it but I never buy deli meat by the pound.

I absolutely love Cuban food. Pretty much impossible to find in Southern Indiana. There was a lady in Jasper selling it out of her house for awhile but that got shut down. So I found some pre-made packaged cuban black beans yesterday on Amazon and ordered them. Next week I'm going to give mojo pork, cilantro lime rice with those black beans my best effort.

Im waiting for my wife's new dresser to arrive. I, uh, took the old one apart you might say. Anyway, new dresser will go where the guitar and mirror is. And I'm throwing that lamp away too. In the meantime

I'm par boiling some potatoes so I can make a corned beef hash for dinner tonight. Took me too long to figure out good hash browns. I always bought the pre cut bags from the freezer. Nope. Fresh potatoes par boiled and cooled. Then cook them up in a cast iron with butter or bacon grease.

Supposedly a new album is in the works. It's been about 6 years which fits their timeline.

When I make fried chicken at home, either air fryer or oil, I brine the chicken in pickle juice. It makes a difference and is apparently chic fil a's secret.
