I fixed it for you....lol Indiana is not firing on all cylinder, right now. Plain and simple. Once this team gets it's 3 pt. defensive woes under control, this is team will be fun to watch. Mark my word..... There are definitely more guys than Mgbako over thinking the game. IMO, the best players on the team right now are Ware, Galloway, X, Cupps and Reneau.

I thought all along before the season started that both Cupps and Newton were going be a pleasant surprise and welcomed addition to a lot of people. IMO Cupps has not disappointed and only going to get better. I think Newton could be the X factor on this team.....when he returns (hopefully it won't be long)... JMO...

Guys.... all things aside. We are obviously young and unproven. However, really feel we will be looking back to the beginning of the year and as to how much we have improved. It may not happen fast, but with our rich coaching resume and talent, I looking forward to a pretty fun year. Coach Woodson and Co. will eventually get this "machine" well oiled... JMO. GO IU!

I totally agree. I relate it to NFL pre-season football games. I do think he has kept things sort of vanilla, especially with the learning curve of so many new faces. I foresee an uptick in play all around, Thursday night. JMO.

I kept looking at him on the bench and wondered if he is the missing part of this team progressing faster..... It can only help. Is there ANY timetable on a possible come back?

At one point, midway through the 1st half, the entire bench was in and not producing much at all. I told my wife, "I'm sure Coach is keeping them in to see if they can produce a spark or at least try get something going positively." Knight did it often...

Opposing teams attempting high percentages of 3's is going to be a constant battle all season because of our low post defense and the continued impressive play Ware. We just need to play much, much better perimeter defense and that has to start with the right line up with the right attitude from this new and young team.

I know where you are going with this....I thought the same thing when KDB posted that Coach Woodson thought we played pretty good basketball. He was ONLY talking about defense and the lower point total.

I totally agree BGleas...... I bolded your comments that I like. MgBako is a star athlete, but he playing like the game needs to come to him instead of taking over. He definitely has other gears that we have not seen yet. Put him in with the wolves and bang around with others at the 4 a little is only going to make him better. JMO....

IMO.....Cupps should be the first one off the bench, if not a sniff at starting a few times along with X. I like a line up of.... X, Cupps, Ware, Galloway, Reneau. I think at this point, 2 games in, Cupps steals Mgbako's starting spot. I agree with what others are saying..... Mgbako has tremendous, tremendous upside, but defense is an ABSOLUTE must from him. I honestly think Coach Woodson is very frustrated with Mgbako's play of late because he should be playing way better that he is. Just 2 games in this year and I find myself getting antsy, wondering when Cupps will come in. IMO, he has to play more than he has been right now. I know he's not the primary pg, because X is, but his defense alone and court awareness is extremely impressive.

This Colts defense is havin hard stopping the run and look two steps slow. I can’t believe the Patriots are able to run 6-8 yards almost every down!
