There's a grocery not to far away where you can grind your own butter's. Almond butter is awesome!

The best Chocolates from every state!

Got home after the holidays and realized I didn't have anything cooked for the week. So I now have some Chili in the slow cooker for overnight! Thought came to mind, can you overcook chili? I mean it always seems the longer it cooks the better, but again can you overcook chili?
As I type this, a funny family anecdote comes to mind. Was going to heat up some leftover chili in the microwave and commented to my brother I was going to nuke it. My brother being an IU grad in physics and having worked at Lawrence Livermore Laboratories for the Atomic Energy Commission said where I come from Nuking takes on a whole new connotation!

Drroogh has been doing a fantastic job with this thread.
Not sure if we have done this one yet :
Thanks mile for the input during the Thanksgiving doldrums! Unfortunately, they are way out of my price range! 😕Really do appreciate though, everything you do here! I think of you as a close friend!
More in my price range. Most charming old fashioned diner of each state!

This has got to be the best list yet, as each state has a link to a whole new list for each state.

So once again in the discussion, under the many California links above is In-N-Out. Flying out tomorrow to have Thanksgiving with the Grand Kids. I am going to have to highly suggest we stop at In-N-Out so that Grandpa can experience one of California's most famous foods. Or maybe if we can find our way to Pink's! Kind of like when I was in Chicago for my Son and Daughter-in-laws wedding, going to Portillo's!😀

Thanksgiving time! Best thanksgiving recipe from each state!

Okay, so this is not a list of best of each state! But I think that line is running dry so Let's allow the best fifty steakhouses in the US!

I know we already had a best burger list but that was from 2016, this list is 4 days old and from a different source
I only saw two duplicates!

With the colder weather settling in the last couple of weeks, I thought I would try some new chili recipes. I was a little reprehensive with this one as it has some non standard ingredients like mustard, ketchup and lime juice, but OMG I just threw away the old stand bye recipe I've had for several decades!
https://www.food.com/recipe/kellys-chili-50732
Didn't have any bell peppers and my pot was too full to even put the onion in, I used Chipotle pepper for my premium pepper and Garlic Salt instead of the garlic powder and salt. Just used a can of crushed tomatoes for the tomatoes but everything else was per the recipe!
So HSN what is your award winning CHILI recipe

Then there is a good chance I know you, since I have known him since we were young.
The world really is a small place! Had a good friend after college that no matter where we went he knew somebody! Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado he would always meet somebody he knew! I was amazed! But when I went to Bruges Belgium, and was talking with a vendor and they mention another customer who had just been there a few weeks ago, I'm like I know the guy! Not so impressed with my friend after all!

OK. My bad. When in doubt. Go with a burger. Hard to destroy a burger, IMHO.
The only bad today, was my choice! We're good mile!

There's always a next time. Honestly have never had a dish at Ted's that I did not enjoy.
it wasn't Ted's so I shall reserve judgment!

Here in Colorado. The Buffalo Tenderloin Steak is the way to go. Ted's is good. I like it. However since they don't offer a Buffalo Tenderloin Steak... I always go with the Short Rib.
My apologies mile, when I was presented a menu today with bison burger options, I hesitated and went for the fish taco's! Based on the results I should have gone with the bison burgers!!

Probably one of the most impactful players ever in College and the NBA has finally accepted his HOF ring! One of my favorite players ever!
Have to respect his reason for waiting so long!

Rarely, burrito XXL when I do! Looking forward to trying a Qudoba they’re building close by! However I usually go for the family owned Mexican restaurant!
