This Nebraska team is not any good either...doesn't say much for us right now. I know things can change but this waiting until the 4th quarter to show up every week is getting old.

Just a putrid offense. We never seem to be able to field a complete team.

Almost always happens on the punt returns when a guy starts scrambling around....that is why even attempting the return half the time is a waste.

Yeah, but sometimes it is hard to see the big picture when you are really where you want to be. He also has a young family that he had just asked to move about a year prior to that offer. He was "home". His wife was "home".

That seems a little high to me, but if they are anywhere close, we are in for one heckuva year.

For about 58 minutes the criticism was warranted. It was a good job to find a way to eke out a win against a conference opponent in our first game with a bunch of new pieces on the field for the first time. We have 2 games to work out the kinks and see what we've got before what appears to be a big test at Cincinnati. We did not play well but still won a winnable game. This program doesn't really have the luxury of complaining about style points with how hard wins have been to come by historically (particularly in conference games). A W is a W as far as I am concerned, even if it was error filled and ugly.

Voted for XJ. Not to be a homer but looking at his stat line, he is solid across the board. He scores, he distributes, pretty decent on shooting percentages in comparison to the others. Decent at the foul line. You could make a case for some of the other guys but X has a pretty solid stat line.
