Woodson’s subbing alone gives the other team a 10 point advantage
I'd argue it's just Banks. Cupps is a big drop off from X right now, but X can't go 40 minutes. Why Banks is playing so much, I do not know.

Sparks boxing! I don't see how he didn't get called in Nebraska.

Someone tell me again why Banks plays?

How do you not sit Walker after missing that box-out? That's the kind of play that should have you running steps in the gym while the game is going on.
-
Is the read for the wr there really to just drop into space rather than keep running open for a deep ball?

Yeah, Michigan having success running the ball seems like the only given of the game.
I have a hard time seeing how Michigan's defense doesn't make enough plays to win this, but who knows.
I would like to take a first quarter victory lap on my prediction.

If I'm Michigan I think a heavy dose of running will be in order today. Anything to keep Penix and gang off the field. PS...Tornado watch and stuff in the area and NRG Stadium has now sprung a leak.

Yesterday I turned on a game on USA network VCUvs GW. The announcer said that he dumbest thing hing I have ever heard. The score was 82-80 and the ball was with the losing team. The announcer said some coaches might foul up two so they wouldn't get beat by 3. He said it with 19 seconds left and said the team would have enough time to get a good shot for the win.
I've never once seen a team do that.

Agree. Going off memory and eye test, it feels like our best lineups are:
XJ
Galloway
1 of: Mgbako, Banks or Gunn
Walker
1 of: Ware or Reneau
I included both Banks and Gunn because they've both had moments of real effectiveness and they've both probably had more moments of being almost unplayable.
I haven't always been real high on Gunn, but this is a different IU team with XJ healthy and playing like he did yesterday and Gunn playing like he did in the 2nd half.
It allows us to play quicker, faster and with better perimeter play on both ends.
To my mind you're being generous saying that Banks has had moments of real effectiveness. I would say he's had moments of being unplayable and moments of being barely adequate. I get benching MM after some of the things he did, but I hope it doesn't continue.

Huge win! 3-1 in conference! I remember when the sky was falling after the Nebraska game 😂
I'm old enough to remember when the sky was falling after the Auburn game.

I was thinking how sometimes they'll change a 3 to a 2 during a break. But, I guess calling something a "3" is a call you can change.
They can review it if they called it a goal tending. The difference, I assume, is that if they called it, it's by definition a play where there was a dead ball right after. It strikes me as a dumb rule, but better than reviewing a no call where there was a live ball.
-
At some point don't you have to let Sparks have a chance to just grab some rebounds?

Can they review that goaltending during a break?
They can review a call they made, but I don't think they can review one they didn't.

Say what you want about our guards/perimeter players, but Galloway, XJ and Gunn are working their tails off defensively.
Yup. Our big men have the talent and our guards have the toughness and hustle.
-
I cringed when Gunn let that fly, but , in stark contrast to the 2 he missed earlier, he came to a stop and went straight up. Big difference vs. those offbalanced ones he took earlier.

He hit them in the early season against lesser opponents but he really hasn’t shot well as of late from out there. Much rather Raneau shooting it.
A wide open shot is a wide open shot, no?

We hardly had any fouls at that point. We're not in any foul trouble.
But again, it was player execution. The plan wasn't to foul 4 times. It was to foul once.
Mgbako messed it up at first. Then Galloway's foul after half court was the one that was supposed to happen.
Foul on ensuing inbounds wasn't a strategy, it was a player mistake. Same with the last one.
The strategy was to foul at about 4-5 seconds to make them reset.
Thank you.

No way Woody tell MM to use one of his fouls and take no time off the clock.
Woody was yelling at him and immediately pulled him. Clearly not what he wanted him to do.

Yeah, nobody on our team boxes out. Nebraska was great at boxing out the other night.
Watched a little Nebraska Wisconsin today and both teams boxing out like crazy.
MM has had some solid boxes throughout the year. So has Sparks. That's a bout it.

So coach told MM to foul and thought he was smart enough to make them run 4 seconds off first?

Hey, Keet. Can you find that screaming idiot and administer a knuckle sammich?
We've had one at our games several times lately. It can't be some one traveling with OSU.

Woodson is an idiot. Mass subs cost us the lead and momentum. Hopefully he retires or gets fired sooner, rather than later. He is an idiot!
They were on an 8-0 run before we subbed. I think the momentum was taken.
I don't know why Banks is getting so much run.

X was pissed that MM let Battle get that last 3 off. Hope he's talking to him now.
