Schwarber has been named an NL All Star for the first time in his career.

IU needs a good season. Then recruiting could get interesting.

2022 CB Jacolby Spells Commits to West Virginia
DC2345 replied to KDB's topic in Football Recruiting
Oh yay! The super silent verbal commit. Even if he announces WVU I’m sure that’s what happened lol -
2022 OG DJ Moore Commits to Indiana
DC2345 replied to thirdgenhoosier's topic in Football Recruiting
He’s IU’s top OL target. They are in a good spot with others but he’s the one they want. Not sure what his timeframe is though. -
Nope

He’s long been a well respected assistant coach. Things just didn’t go well when he was a head coach. He also has a defensive coordinator type of coaching background so that will likely be his main role. Some great assistants just aren’t good head coaches.
-
It’s just been the talk around him for a while and the way things have been trending.
-
Rick Carlisle has agreed to hire Lloyd Pierce as his top assistant and he’s closing in on adding Ronald Nored to the staff as well.
-
Believe what you want. He was always a Duke lean and now that he’s got the offer it would take something crazy for him not to end up there. It’s just a matter of time.

He’s Duke bound

2022 Class Rankings and Discussion
DC2345 replied to IUfaninIllinois's topic in Basketball Recruiting
This sounds like a take straight from some of the posters on peegs. The class will be alright it’s June for crying out loud -
It was on a post from Alfonzo Allen with pictures of him on his visit to IU.
-
Those are the two schools
-
No. IU doesn’t have a shot here since Mike Roberts is gone. They’re to far out of this recruitment.
-
Yeah it is. One time well whatever but twice. Come on. Not to mention he doesn’t need to force his way out if he wants to leave since he’s set to be a free agent anyway.
-
I love how NBA players are all doctors and medical experts when it comes to injuries
-

I expect changes to the roster. It’ll be interesting to see how much influence on the roster Carlisle gets because the franchise is clearly paying him more than they have past coaches which is a major change.
-
He impressed at the top 100 and IU likely figured they would take a shot and see what happens.

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski to retire after next season
DC2345 replied to IU247's topic in General Basketball Discussion
Duke is in the process of naming Scheyer head coach in waiting so he’ll be the replacement for Coach K. -
I think he just decided to stay for this year unless their is a surprise opening. He was 100% sniffing around some jobs and at least one of those may have been viewed as a lateral move in some peoples eyes.
-
Not to mention seeing IU getting strong consideration from other highly rated 2022 DE's. Probably felt he was being recruited over.
-
That's cool. I guess you are a fan of losing then.
