I, too, haven't watched the game but wanted see the post-game comments. From the handful of games I have watched, it sounds like the same failings applied to this one.
At this moment I can just say this: It's inconceivable to me how we fail to get shooters. Teams routinely beat us with the 3-pt disparity - too often with shooters from the state of Indiana.

Ware was very good.
Mgbako & Gunn made some shots.
Beyond that - lousy 3pt defense & poor FT shooting.

Overall pretty good performance.............at the FT line. Beyond that, totally unsatisfactory.

Somebody guard Prince Harry!

It feels like every team in the NCAA can find shooters....except us.

This is the worst team on our schedule.
That's what Army said....🥸

Hopefully we've learned from the "ketchup" recruitment - keep recruiting DQ, but continue to explore other options.

Sounds like the longer it draws out the better our chances?
If we'd been on a player the longest and been considered the likely choice for months and he remained uncommitted as the signing period wore on, I'd be losing optimism.

A couple of times when they had the camera on our bench - man what a physical monster Newton is! I sure hope he gets healthy so he can start knocking dudes around.

Not ready for prime time, but some good glimses. A work in progress for sure.

It's unreal how few points separates him from 3 to possibly 7 or 8 Championships.
Fork Wooden. Bobby Knight was better than that assclown
I recall CBK had a saying about 'what could of should have been...'
But, yes, '74-'75 is arguably the best IU team ever (stopped by Scott May's broken arm), the promise of the '81-'82 team before Turner's tragic accident, and Alan Henderson's knee injury late in the season. That is 2 very possible titles lost and one potentially lost.

I gotta say, if PGE evaluates Davis as both an "excellent shooter" and a "tenacious defender", then I'm all in.

Bravo TJD!

The difference between "committed" and "dedicated":
For your morning breakfast of bacon & eggs, the chicken was dedicated but the pig was committed...
-
If a recruit is fully committed, and not yet signed, he can tell coaches to stop contacting him.

Like any "news" story, we don't know all the facts - both for and against MM's behavior. Once sorted out, the punishment should fit the offense.

Bummer. Another example of how hints and tealeaves are just BS - and, of course, I fell for it again 😖.
There will be de-commits and portal players. I just don't like relying on that route annually.
Maybe the worst part is the rapid loss of enthusiasm for McNeely. He's a big win and the player I wanted most for a long while.
Anyway, back to fland, maybe the RR poster was correct - he's a nice player but not a superstar. (still wish he chose us, though).

Just for S&G I perused Rupp Rafters yesterday. In the Boogie thread I saw a post lamenting the arrival of NIL and how Mark Cuban could just a check. I guess it would make they'd long for the "good ol' days" when they got recruits "The UK way" - by sending stacks of bill$ in a Emory packet....😏
