I am not advocating for a new head coach, and have been on the CTA train since his hire. That being said, if this season continues to deteriorate, and we go the rest of the year without winning another game, my opinion might change. I say "might" only on the condition that we have a candidate lined up and committed to take the job. I want only former head coaches that have had some degree of success in the past, with one exception. I also am realistic enough to know that an Urban Meyer (whom I would not want anyhow) is not coming to Bloomington.
In no particular order, here is the list of candidates that I think would be viable upgrades--some mentioned already by others:
-Bill O'Brien
-Gary Patterson
-Chris Petersen
-Dan Mullen
-Tom Herman
-Bronco Mendenhall
-Troy Calhoun
-Dan Hawkins
-Todd Monken--the one exception to the HC idea. He's the OC at Georgia
