  1. Which is more surprising? That play or Mizzou ahead of Georgia 10-0 in the 2nd quarter?
  2. Mizzou leads Georgia 10-0 in the 2nd quarter
  3. I didn’t want to go that far, but it’s more than possible
  4. Sack on Bazelak. HAS to get rid of the ball faster than that
  5. Maris hits #61. October 1st, 1961.
  6. The NFLPA is getting involved. DeMaurice Smith has stated that they are going to do an investigation into last week and last night, and whether the Dolphins were covering up a concussion. Both the team and the attending doctors are going to be under the microscope. Regardless of when he is ready to play again, I can see these incidents becoming the impetus for further changes to the protocol process. Having a short turn around from a Sunday game to a Thursday game did not let the process play out completely. That can's happen again. Players are going to err on the side of playing. That's their livelihoods on the line. The decisions need to be taken out of the player's hands. The decisions need to be taken out of the coach's hands, as well as the team doctor's. The league can afford to hire doctors who are independent of any team to make these determinations.
  7. That’s exactly how I feel. Posters here, IU fans, might know that Buck is an IU alum. Average fan watching that game have no clue. The program already has a perception issue. No reason at all to make a comment that makes us the butt of a joke on national tv.
  8. yes, I was trying to paste a link to a CBS Sports story about Memphis basketball, and had the same issue
  9. First meal with new lower partial. Dentist told me to eat something soft, so I am at Panera eating Mac and cheese. Really gonna take some getting used to.
  10. Not worked up at all, nor would I have found this funny had it been about Purdue, Notre Dame or anyone else. Just found it in poor taste, and not something pertinent to an NFL broadcast.
  11. Doesn’t matter. His comment had no relevance to the play, or the game. Just because something may be true, it doesn’t mean it needs to be said. I thought Aikman was more professional than to say something like that. I bet that the producers got in his ear, thus prompting the apology. Restraint is a valuable trait these days. Unfortunately it doesn’t get practiced nearly enough
  12. Nope. 2006- lost to Marion in 1st game of sectionals 2007- lost to FW Snider in first game 2008 - beat Warsaw in first game, then lost to FW South Side 2009- lost to FW North Side in first game
  13. From 2006-09 they were a combined 30-12. They haven’t had a winning season since
  14. Per PFF, Pryor was the second highest rated Colt in yesterday’s game
  15. I need .26 of a point from Zeke to win my game this week. Stranger things have happened. Yes I agree on the low scores this week, however one guy in my standard league scored over 140.
  16. Nebraska gets 3 points for playing at home, so basically a half point spread
  17. Pretty sure by the reaction on the Colts’ sideline that they felt like they won the game. Scott, all you and @D-BONEdo on these game threads-the IU ones too, is bitch. Rarely or never a positive. No accolades for the Colts’ defense today, holding the Chiefs to 17 points. No comments on Pierce coming off a concussion and making some huge catches. Nothing about a rookie tight end with two touchdowns today. I get it, it was an ugly win. Doesn’t matter. No style points in the NFL. A little balance would go a long ways towards changing how you both are perceived in these threads.
  18. #25 Miami is getting beat at home by Middle Tennessee State by 21. Sparty is getting shut out at home by 24. Point being, we aren’t the only ones
  19. I think that’s the kid from Warsaw that missed it
  20. He’s averaging 111.5 receiving ypg and has 3 touchdowns for a 2-4 team
  21. Camp bell’s game winner last week was about the same distance
  22. Players are bigger, faster, stronger, thus the collisions are more violent. The field’s dimensions haven’t changed. Maybe it’s time to look at expanding the field
