Annoying Aging and Health Issues
Steubenhoosier replied to Hoosierhoopster's topic in Colonial Crester's Corner
Wife and I just got latest Covid booster as we are traveling in 3 weeks. I have had a reaction to my other two boosters. Hoping not for this one -

Not in response to your feelings, but I hope there is a recruit that decides not to come due to the university choosing to endorse this kind of "entertainment." -
Favre seems to have gotten himself into a bit of a pickle, taking money that was supposed to go to people in need. He was a great player, but not the brightest guy.

The thing that bothers me about the OL besides the pressures they have been giving up is the stupid mental errors. Not lining up on the line of scrimmage. Lining up in the neutral zone. Basic stuff that shouldn't be happening and that puts the team in a hole.

A guy who might be looking for an upward move is Dave Clawson, from Wake Forest. The ACC is certainly declining in stature, and he will never get the Deacons over the Clemson/Florida St./Miami hurdle. He's 55, so this would probably be his last big move in an attempt to play in a conference with better inroads to the playoffs. He certainly would warrant a step-up in salary vs. what he's currently being paid at Wake. He has done a great job getting a moribund program to be ranked. I could see him revitalizing Nebraska.

that's how they deliver beer down the bar top as well in Wisconsinđ Not nearly as peaceful in a game, with a sweeping and the skip yelling out directions. -
Campbell named B1G Special Teams player of the week for his 4 field goals, including the game winner.

Don Majkowski was fun for a minute

Fans will drink beer Fans will drink brandy Fans will eat cheese curds Fans will grill brats Fans will drink beer Besides deer hunt and ice fishing, thereâs not a whole lot else to do up there. I lived there pre-Favre and people didnât care that they sucked. The state still tuned in, regardless of the product on the field

IMG_0312.MOV 7 months after total knee replacement and it looks like I might be able to continue curling. No pain or discomfort, just a little puffiness afterwards -
yes, and on Jones' first touchdown, not sure if it was Tirico or Collinsworth, they lauded the great crack back block, when it was clearly a block from behind.

Indiana ranked preseason #6 by Lindyâs Sports
Steubenhoosier replied to KDB's topic in General Basketball Discussion
Last year there were only two teams that ended the season with less than 6 losses and neither made the Final Four. In the last ranking of the season, teams 1-4 lost 6,10,7,and 8 games respectively. Certainly this team has the capability to finish with those kinds of records -

I think WKU would beat one of Rutgers or Maryland and could very well beat Nebraska. Again, this is IU football. Expectations must be based on reality. All the comments I saw from the game thread make it appear as though Dolsen can write a check and bring in an elite head coach. Guess Iâm just tired of the constant negativity from a few posters who tend to dominate the game threads -

Wait, what? Did I fall asleep and miss the first part of the season? âThis team â hasnât played a game yet. How can you say anything about what they have or havenât learned? Different group, new guys. Brought in some players who are used to winning against high levels of competition. Each season, each team is a whole new deal. Different talent, different team dynamics. Gotta let this team develop their own identity and determine for themselves what they can/canât accomplish -
@IU Scott, yesterday you were all about firing CTA. Today, itâs more of the same, just different names. Do you just cut and paste your comments, inserting whatever name is appropriate for the game?

Thanks. Itâs for my flex position so can go several ways. Hesitancy with Thomas is that I have the Bucsâ defense and hate to play a receiver v them

1 spot to fill. Zeke, Hines, Wilson, Michael Thomas, Cooks. Leaning Hines or Wilson Thoughts?

Western Kentucky Post Game Thread
Steubenhoosier replied to KDB's topic in General Football Discussion
Read a lot of the in game thread. Lots of bitching and pessimistic attitudes. You guys do realize that this is IU football weâre discussing here, right? You know, the all-time worst football program in the conference? Any win is a blessing. To be 3-0 is something to relish, not be skeptical about. Too many seasons where 3 wins was the high water mark. Good for these kids. Good for CTA. Guys like Cam Jones deserve all the respect in the world.. not a bunch of armchair coaches who want to disparage his team -
Things donât change here. I got all kinds of grief for not being kind to Smellermakers and it appears that it continues. I applaud you who fight the good fight to purge this site from anyone who is a PUke fan
