Mrs. Keltsch was a client of mine. One of the nicest people I have ever met.

If I die in an act of violence it will be because I react to the guy next to/ behind me whose car stereo makes my windows rattle.

Our family got both the Journal and the Sentinel. I carried both until I turned 16 and got a “real” job at Rogers grocery store. The Sentinel always had the West Coast scores that came in too late to meet the Journal’s publishing deadline. Used to have the full box scores of every MLB game, but also covered every Little League/Pony League etc game. Miss the glory days of great newspaper reporting

Yes, Pete wrote for the Ft. Wayne News Sentinel until the paper was shut down

USC and UCLA to the Big Ten ?
Steubenhoosier replied to IU Scott's topic in General Basketball Discussion
Given that USC is a private school, I would hope that the governor is more focused on state backed schools, UCLA, Cal-Berkeley,etc. USC is always going to get theirs. And certainly, as the school is in the state, they will have to abide by any rules the state's government enacts. However, in not taking state tax revenues, I wonder if they have any leeway. -

We are the highest rated B1G team, yet only a 4th seed. The conference is tied for most teams in, but clearly is not viewed as a strong group this year

Yeah, ol' Herm isn't gonna last through expansion, I'm afraid. Too bad. Good man. The other one that kinda surprises me is Fitzgerald. No matter what quality of product he puts on the field, he seems to be viewed as a lock to stay in Evanston.
