  1. Not sure if I am reading this correctly but 1st round scores at the Zurich Open at -13 and -12?
  2. I am happy with our roster as it stands if Trayce stays another year. If he stays in the draft, there will be a hole in our defense that I think DD would help fill. Saying that, I don’t want any player here that has not fully bought in to what CMW wants. I don’t want any player who is listening to handlers constantly preaching greener grass somewhere else. We have experienced locker room dissent in the not so distant past and it tears a team apart. If a player is not fully in, then he should be out, Imo
  3. None of the states those schools are in produce the kind of talent Indiana does year in and year out
  4. Throwing another wrench into the equation/mess APR is still an enforceable rule, I believe. According to the NCAA’s guidelines, academic progress of student athletes who receive “athletic based” financial aid, are counted towards the APR calculations. Is NIL considered athletic based? Could a program hide a player struggling academically by taking him off scholarship so his poor grades don’t count against the team score? 1 player might not be enough to make a program ineligible for postseason play, but if there were multiple kids? Kids on their way out who don’t want to attend class?
  5. Average career of an NFL RB has to be a lot shorter than for a WR.
  6. pUKe's 5 star Freshman, Shaedon Sharpe, declares for the draft. Reclassified, and enrolled in school in January. Never played a minute of college ball. Even though the family vowed he would return to Lexington for the 22-23 season, the lure of being a projected top 10 draft pick is too much to ignore.
  7. He’s achieved everything he can at the collegiate level. Money is not an issue. He is young enough, and appears to be healthy enough to enjoy a long retirement with his wife, maybe grandkids. I also see the changing landscape of college athletics, with NIL and the transfer portal causing multiple coaches like him to reevaluate whether they want to continue
  8. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/49ers-star-deebo-samuel-requests-trade-after-breaking-off-contract-talks-per-report/ Deebo wants out. I read somewhere last week that the two most likely suitors were the Jets and the Colts.
  9. Anything from these guys. Regardless of who the lead singer was, I can listen to them all day.
  10. So, what happens when the guy who is the most important piece becomes expendable? How hard does it become to recruit new people when the reputation is out there that your spot isn't really all that safe. Like you said, unintended consequences.
  11. So, let's be clear here. If your employer came to you and said that a big part of your guaranteed salary is going to be turned into some performance based compensation, something that could be pulled away on the whim of the employer, so that more money could be devoted to hiring new talent, you'd be okay with that?
  12. Looking Glass Fals, Pisgah National Forest. Part of the Vanderbilt holdings. Beautiful and easy to get to
  13. Good start with Cupp in the next class. Mr. Basketball as a junior isn’t too shabby
  14. I am super excited that Malik committed. I fully believe that this recruiting class is the beginning of IU returning to prominence. I view Malik and JHA as the linchpins of this momentum. All that said. I am not going to disrespect any players currently on the roster by suggesting that they are or should be gone. These guys have put their hearts into getting the program back to the tournament, back to respectability. Every player on the roster committed to being a Hoosier for multiple years, and many of them recommitted to CMW when they easily could have gone elsewhere. I am never going to overlook loyalty. Never going to overlook commitment. I get it that college athletics is becoming more like professional sports, and it’s survival of the fittest. Leaving it to the coaches to figure this out, but I don’t want to see players being “escorted out.”
  15. No one cares!!!😛😛😛😛
  16. RMK always claimed that Glen Grunwald was the most talented player he ever recruited. Bad knees did him in before we ever got to see how good he was
  17. No, he wasn’t. Didn’t coach defense. Could not bring in the state’s best. Romeo would have never come to IU had Crean remained in charge
  18. In his first year, CAM was hamstrung because he had to keep players due to grade issues. Couldn’t fully recruit a class. He brought in Romeo, TJD, Geronimo and Galloway… all players who we have in the past or currently want to build our team around. Yes, there have been some misses, but they certainty aren’t flops. With all the resources every NFL team can draw upon, ever look at the statistics on how many draft picks don’t pan out? I know his tenure wasn’t overwhelming but really tired of the constant bashing of CAM every chance some folks get
  19. C’mon, man. I was referring to this one specific recruit. Overall, CTA is bringing in a much higher level of recruit. This one just seems to look like a reach to me
  20. Hmm. West Texas A&M Kinda reminds of recruits from the Lynch era
