Here's a trivia question for you or any of the other Reds fans that are here.....

There are a lot of sons and a few grandsons from the Big Red Machine dynasty that played in the big leagues.  Who is the only son of a 1975-76 Reds World Series champion player to also win a World Series ring?

Bench, Rose, Morgan, Perez, Concepcion, Foster, Geronimo, Griffey Sr.  You won't find a 1-8 better.  Equal maybe, but that's one of the most solid top to bottom lineups baseball has ever seen.

Me too. He took 51 shots, 42 were threes, made 15 so 35.7%. Works for me with a much higher volume. I don't care what position the threes come from, just take and make more.

Actually, it's his position that makes him valuable.  Contrary to what some want to believe, we can't just roll Reneau and 4 guards out on the floor.  Power has the size to play as a stretch-4 alongside either Reneau or Ballo, or if MM runs into foul trouble or if we just need the size on the floor, he could play alongside both Reneau and Ballo as a wing.

Essegian is just another decent shooting SG.  Power gives us both shooting and flexibility.

Here's my two cents. With Tucker, Rice, and Ballo we've already crushed the offseason. If/when Carlyle says yes that's even better.

No disrespect to the Hickman or Essegian types but they won't move the needle like the above. If Essegian comes great. If not....find another.

Honestly, I'd prefer Power over Essegian at this point anyway.

    That's freaking insane!

When Kenny Chesney was Top Dogg I never paid more than $100 per

My office is downtown Cincinnati about 4 blocks from Paycor Stadium, and I swear the Taylor Swift phenomenon must have been like what the Beatles or Elvis must have been like.  The two concerts were Friday and Saturday night.  There were people lining up Wednesday night for when the merchandise truck opened Thursday at noon.

Was never sold.on Essegian. Decent player, but there are dozens as good as him available. It's the expected bias because he is from Indiana.

If he was from Georgia, we wouldn't even give him much consideration as a fan base.

The player equivalent to Dusty May then.

I don't care if a player is from the state of Indiana, Indiana, Pennslyvania or ïиdïåиå, Czechoslovakia.  Get the 4 best players available.

    I really have no idea.

I paid $20 a ticket for general admission to see Gary Allan and Dierks Bentley back in 2008. We were stageside, standing room only at Roberts Stadium.

I know times change but how do people afford to go to shows?

I paid $119 each for the dried up owtlaw pothead tour. Which isn't bad at all. Got pretty good seats

I know of at least one confirmed instance of someone paying $4000 EACH for a pair of Taylor Swift tickets.

Kentucky tried that one year when they had the Harrison twins.  It worked with moderate success until there were injuries and certain players struggled or didn't mesh. Cal ended up settling on more of a 7-8 man rotation.

2014-15, and they did legitimately go 10 deep but it was injuries that shut it down.  Cauley-Stein, both Harrisons, Lyles, Ulis, Booker, KAT, Dakari Johnson, Alex Poythress and Marcus Lee all averaged 10+ MPG, but Poythress went down early in the season and Lee was dinged up most of the year.

And it worked, that was the year they were undefeated until they lost to Wisky in the FF.

One of the only times Wisconsin has ever been useful. 😂

I said Morgan Wallen is a douche and my cat comes rubbing her tail agreement.

He's honestly one I don't get the obsession with.  I think he's a decent artist, not the best I've ever heard but decent enough.  He does seem like kind of a douchenozzle.  And yet aside from Taylor Swift, people are paying bigger premiums for his tickets than anyone I've ever seen?

    What's the deal?
