Coleman was easily their best player. He was fantastic. Ball State looked decent. ISU is better than last year for sure. They're fun to watch, a lot more fun than the Lansing days. I'll check out a few more BSU games to check out that Coleman kid. They also have a lot of Indiana kids on their roster.

They do …I love Peyton sparks he has come such a long way since his freshman year of high school and may be dominant as an upper classman in that conference ….the issue is they rarely move the ball and do a ton of dribbling …they often rely on athleticism and take tons of difficult shots and I’ve rarely seen a team less willing to make the next pass for an open shot ….they could be SO much better if they played as a team ….indiana state had tons of energy and moved the ball well I enjoyed them

Were you at the BSU/INS game? I was there and it was a great game. It was a fun watch. Coleman for BSU is a STUD. Dude can shoot the lights out. He was making me angry.

I was watching on espn app but was not there …Coleman looked like a huge addition ( or readdition if you will ) but my general take away is that isu plays great team basketball and ball state is playing exactly like last year unfortunately ….it was a fun game but if Coleman hadn’t been nba jam level on fire bsu gets beat by 20 easy

I know people weren't on board with the CMW hire. I was and it will prove to be a decision that pays in dividends. A new era has begun.

I liked the Archie hire. Good on paper but didn't work out.

When Woody is done he can pass the torch in a way coach knight wasn't able to do. The present and future of IU basketball is bright.

I was kinda hoping that would be to fife…

Sure but a lot of the hype around him was his instant impact, best player in practice etc.

I don’t want to sound down on him because I think he’ll be a good player, but he certainly through the first couple of games doesn’t appear to be Purdue’s “best player” or whatever report that was.

I missed that so I wasn’t contradicting you I’m sorry ….I didn’t think he’d start much less make a major impact , if he did it wouldn’t have shocked me but I definitely wouldn’t have expected it …his athleticism and size make it tough to come in as a freshman ….I think as he develops and gets used to the speed he will do what he has always done and adapt to the game and take on a leadership role …..I’m worried about him as an upperclassman not this season

If Stetson had possession in the front court and it wasn't tapped back by andFSU player, that should have been an over and back. As I understand the rule, an offensive player can't be the first to touch it, it isn't about possession.

That was my exact take hence the confusion ….did he exploit a rule I don’t know or did the refs just get lulled to sleep

I think it was at Ohio St in early 90's. When the clock wouldn't stop after made shot...Bailey ran the clock out standing out of bounds for final 4+ seconds. Thought to myself how smart he was in that moment to do that.

I know I’m over the top with him but just as a relevant point to the bellarmine heady play I saw one iVe not seen before and still am not sure even as a previously licensed official how it worked but the look it got out of Leonard Hamilton is priceless …if you didn’t see the sequence at halftime of the Stetson fsu game check this out I recorded it because I still couldn’t figure out how it wasn’t a back court …the Leonard Hamilton look is at the beginning the replay is at the end
