Changed his mind and decided to go back to class of 2024 ( hard to think he wouldn’t want to play one year with his brother) 2. City SC offered him a contract he couldn’t refuse to keep developing under their tutelage (also hard to think as his dad is a successful business owner and IU was picked by all 3 kids for Kelly school of business) 3. He’s going to enroll in school later on.

I know it’s weird because in June he was announced as apart of the class. He technically is supposed to be a senior in HS this year but he’s so advanced and playing at such a high level soccer wise that he decided to come to IU a year early.

Does anyone know why Josh Maher didn’t enroll in IU early like he was supposed to. My wife and I coached him and his older brother Jack but no one around us is giving an answer to what happened.

Here’s the thing. Rutgers can promise him a certain amount of NIL money but as you’re seeing in multiple situations they over promise and under deliver then hope they can convince the kid to stay. If I’m Harper and I truly want Rutgers (which he will because his dad went through guilt trip with him) then I want a written binding contract that he is guaranteed that money.

I work two jobs and my wife is a freaking boss working full time and taking care of our 6 and 1 year old boys. I want to do something special for her and hoping someone has the hookup. I decided I am going to surprise her by taking her to a colts game for the first time ever as she’s a big time colts fan and has never been to a game. We are coming into town with two of our friends on Saturday October 7th and staying at bottle works hotel. I heard the best place to take her to dinner Aaturday night is Tony’s. For the game Sunday I am hoping to get 4 really good tickets and any additional experiences that can make this truly special for her 40th birthday. She truly deserves it. What will be interesting is what 2024 players commit and if they will be one and dones. If Woody now gets a second guard like Fland to be a lottery pick then 2025 guys like Haralson and Sisley will take notice and recruiting will skyrocket IMO.

It’s not just Edey. It’s everyone else. Players want to go to places that will prepare them for the league so they have success and make tons of money and that’s facts. Big men under painter have a terrible track record of that.

Taking rivalry out of it. Where painter screwed up was not figuring out a way to develop Edey into a draft pick. He’s had multiple big men that got to the league and none have succeeded. That’s going to catch up with him in getting 5 star big men IMO
