We won! I went into the season expecting to see lots of ups and downs for at least the first half of the year. My hope is that once this team plays together awhile, they gel and become a strong team come February/March. Todays game and the exhibition games were about what I expected. That said, I’m happy for the win against a solid team on opening night! Cupps and Ware looked really impressive. Go Hoosiers!!!!

I am. I think Ross was decent, but definitely thought he made quite a few mistakes, especially with pitching decisions late in games. That said, I do hope Ross gets another shot with someone and wish him well. As for Counsell, I am happy with the hire. He was in demand for a reason. My only concern, is his lack of postseason success...but hopefully he turns that around with the Cubs.

Definitely. I like that forum because there is a retired judge and a practicing defense attorney (or 2) who have really informative posts with lots of legalities that most non-lawyers may not know. I live not too far from Carroll County, so I have followed this case closely.

This off-season we will see just how serious Dolson is about turning the football program around. We all know Allen has a large buyout...is Dolson willing to do what clearly needs to be done, or will the buyout be an excuse? I won't buy that IU can't afford the buyout with all the money they are receiving from TV. I actually think he is going to pull the plug on the Allen era, but we shall see.

I think he likely did it by placing himself at the scene and time when it occurred, but I believe that the Carroll County police and to a lesser extent the state police have bungled this case badly. I am also not a fan of the prosecuting attorney. I just hope that justice prevails.

So it must not have been a Kentucky crew running it if they had it in correct alphabetical order.

I would have liked to have seen them run on that 3rd and 2 in Michigan territory, and then go for it on 4th down if they were able to get closer. I hope they stay aggressive.
