  1. Never tried that beer, but that is an awesome can!
  2. Road games are always tough in Big Ten...especially first one. I would feel better about this one if X were healthy and playing well. I have not watched UM play at all this year, so no real feel for this game. I just hope we play like the first 3/4 of the Maryland game and things will be fine. Let's go Hoosiers!!
  3. Ware...another great performance and I'm not sure IU wins without him despite the score. His 3rd double-double of the season.
  4. Chicago or Raiders would be my guess. Hopefully Chicago.
  5. IU keeps getting better… best half of the year (1st half) Ware is a beast and got his 3rd double-double of the season. mgbako starting to get comfortable and playing better Onto the next!
  6. Ware with his 3rd double-double of the year tonight
  7. Lots of folks were panicking because it took Mgbako a handful of games to get acclimated to college ball. Ware is a beast. Go Hoosiers! Let's win this one by 20+!!
  8. Leal has been solid. Like to see him get some more PT
  9. Cignetti has a brass pair!! Loving his moxie!!
  10. It was hilarious to me watching the press conference and seeing how he was answering the reporters questions...he definitely had a little Bob Knight vibe going on.
  11. Honestly....the more I learn and see of Cignetti, the more I love this hire. It's not just what he is saying, but you can tell he truly believes it. Great, great, hire. As others have mentioned, if IU doesn't succeed with him as head coach, I think it is an IU problem, not coach problem.
  12. 13 years...he said he plans to coach until he is 75. 😜
  13. I was curious if he would bring his assistants with, but not surprised. "if it ain't broke..."
  14. I believe @IUFLAmade reference to the Godfather offer in the other thread. Maybe @IUFLAis Scott Dolson!
  15. No issue with it from me. It will give IU extra mentions during game. I'm sure he is going to be putting in his time with the portal/recruiting, so I'm not concerned. If IU were in a bowl game he would be doing both as well.
  16. "I am excited to lead this program forward and change the culture, mindset, and expectation level of Hoosier football," Cignetti said. "I want to thank Director of Athletics Scott Dolson and President Pam Whitten, and I look forward to working with both in building something special at IU. Both share my vision and belief that big things are ahead for the IU program."
  17. YES!!!! Great hire in my opinion. I mentioned it in other thread...give him plenty of money for assistants, NIL, and upgrade the facilities and I think this could be the beginning of something really good for IU football. Best hire since Terry Hoeppner! Go Hoosiers!!!!
  18. I am no insider, but I would imagine they are negotiating/hammering out details of contract or facility upgrades/NIL money etc.
  19. Most definitely agree with this. He took a head coaching job at Elon and was able to win there....he certainly seems like a person/coach who is not scared of a challenge. I liked his resume before watching that video of him with McAfee, but loved his demeanor and attitude on that. That was the clincher for me that he might just be the guy IU needs.
  20. I haven't looked at the JMU roster yet, what is their QB situation?
  21. That is another great point. Despite being a head coach at smaller schools, he was a part and learned under Saban at Bama. His list of recruits was impressive, especially at QB with Rivers/Wilson.
  22. I had him on my "list" but below Candle/Herman. After digging into some of these interviews and doing more research, I think I would have him and Herman 1A/1B. I am really excited if they are able to sign him. I hope and expect Dolson to give him plenty of cash for his assistants, so he can bring in whoever he wants/needs to get the job done. Let's keep increasing the NIL to compete with the big boys and roll out the facility upgrade plan and finally get IU football out of the cellar. I do think this would be the best hire IU has made since Hoeppner. Go Hoosiers!!
  23. I really was impressed by his attitude. His straight talk about the committees/NCAA was great. He has no problem fighting for the underdog....which is what IU needs, since we are essentially the underdog of the big ten.
