Right. When he first started running I thought they had some trick play called, or at least something clever up their sleeve. Then when he slid, I was thinking to myself there was no way he was getting another play off. I thought the old rule of thumb was to expect approximately 10 seconds to run off clock between when you are down and get another play off.

That ending was so Cowboys. HA!

What a stupid unnecessary penalty on that Tampa Bay defender. That would piss me off so much if I was a fan of that team. He seriously couldn't celebrate with his teammates without taking his helmet off on the field?

Because Nagy is a tool and can't adjust his schemes to fit his roster. Don't get me started about Howard ha...I was LIVID when the Bears traded him for peanuts. Not just because he played for IU, but he was very good in his role with the Bears.

Yeah...One of the first times I got pissed at Nagy was the Bears trading him because "Howard didn't fit Nagy's system"...like anyone believed he had a legit system. Howard was a beast for the Bears. It was like Groundhog's Day when the Bears traded away Olsen because he didn't "fit" the coaches scheme. And the Bears have sucked at TE since.

For the Bengal fans...

I've always thought he was the worst head referee in the league for years. I don't understand why he still is head referee of a crew and why they let him officiate any playoff games.

Glad they scheduled this game when they did...unlike the Minnesota game which conflicted with the NFL games. This time it sets up perfectly for us to watch IU and then the NFL playoffs.

Watching the Patriots getting their asses kicked is making me smile.

I think I read an article about that a few years back. I believe 91 was his last year in the league, which is kind of interesting. Maybe the Bengals should give him a ceremonial role in today's pregame.

I actually know a few Raider fans. I do sort of want payback for one of them....he was rooting against the Colts against the Saints in that Superbowl at my house. I really am just rooting for good games this weekend. Close and competitive.

Star Wars gave me an idea...Colts could get this guy to play QB. He is not overly mobile and past his prime but he could use the force to complete long passes and we know what he is capable of if the receivers disappoint him.

Yeah those temps and a rookie QB and I see Bellichick running, running, and running some more. It makes sense for Pats to try to shorten game and minimize possessions. However, like you alluded to, if Bills get up early he might be forced to throw more than he wants to. I think this game sets up well for the Bengals today...I read a stat somewhere that Carr does not do well in cold weather. That and the short week for them after the dramatic Sunday night game, should give the Bengals a big edge in that game. 31 years...That was Ickey Woods and the Ickey Shuffle!

No doubt Rob did not have a great game last night and struggled offensively, but he has been playing better offensively in the previous games. I still think he is overcoming the combination of Archie and injuries. He looked much better pre concussion his freshman year on the offensive side of things. Also, like others have mentioned, his defensive effort is exceptional.
