Just checked and what a lousy time for the IU/SC game 5 pm on Friday. Guess they don't want to interfere with the Men's games, but geeze.....

He is paid in Canada. His visa limits what he can do here.
His NIL money is paid thru Canada ?? Not doubting your word, just seems wierd. I could certainly believe that he has other sources of income in Canada, but I would have thought his NIL money was paid in the states. My bad if I'm wrong.

If they're on SS and no other income, or savings (shame on them) they'll never qualify for a mortgage anyway, especially if they split up. (Not enough income)
On the surface it looks like either sell it, or spouse that leaves becomes 2nd mortgage holder and takes "payments" from resident spouse.

Any bankers or mortgage people on here? Wife has a client, home is largest asset...getting divorced but the only way to divide assets is either sell home (they don't want to do that) or do the cash out refinance...but does that mean the one staying in the home would have to refinance at current rates?
How much actual equity is in the house? If the house is $500k, but there's a $400k mortgage on it, that's not a very big hurdle. "Non-resident" (soon to be) ex-spouse could be the new 2nd mortgage holder and take payments over a period of time at "X%" rate that "could be" lower than a mortgage banker. And would create an income stream for the ex-spouse. And the house would be collateral for the payout over specified time.
But if they insist on cash out refinancing, it's unlikely you'll find anything lower than current market rates. Even private mortgage lenders (I used to be one) charge a premium over mortgage companies and banks.

As mentioned in an earlier post from someone, those schools have a HS recruiting class for ‘24-25’. We don’t. We’ve got 7(?) scollys open. Have to go buy them in the portal.

I'm not disagreeing with that. I don't get the notion that people are throwing out there that IU is going to buy their players. why is there a negative connotation to that. Everyone is doing it. Why are some throwing out this pathetic criticism? UK is doing it. KU is doing it. Duke is doing it.
Yeah…but not for the whole team.

Set Tow has a GREAT article on the women on TDH. Suggest you take a few minutes to read it.

Mac had the "quiet-est" 29 points I've ever seen. If she'd made most of her bunnies, she'd had 40 !

Nice Nice Nice gut it out win.

We should be up by 10. Mac has missed a ton of bunnies and Sara started out ice cold.
Okla plays very fast

Just watched both of the IU/Okla pressers.
Both coaches implied that the beginning of the game will be paramount. Okla coach also implied they can be very very good, or just average. Obviously of late, they've been very good.
Hope the our ladies dominate, not just compete.

If you're not watching GCU vs AL change the channel !!
This game is insane. Must be 100 combined turnovers + steals for both teams. And they're playing with the after-burners on the whole time. Really entertaining. Ugly as hell, but entertaining.

I’ve heard he’s making well over a million.
And while he pays taxes in the US for that "income", he does not pay any taxes in Canada on that income. Canada does not tax citizens income outside of Canada, whereas the US taxes world-wide income. The US is one of only 2 countries on the planet to do so, and IIRC the other country (can't remember it's name) has about 500 people in it.

IF...the gals can get by Okla, they are really gonna have to defend and shoot lites out against SC.
SC has 2-3 gals that shoot as good as Sara.
And they are playing great defense. Also have their own version of Edey.

Personally, I think May is a much better coach than Woodson. Would May be good for us? Nobody knows for sure. But in my mind he would be a huge “upgrade” to what we have now.
that may not be good enough for this “un-true” fan base, but lacking an absolute home run hire, I could certainly live with it.

Players improve from year to year in this program, so returning players will be better next year than they are this year.
Totally agree. We've got several freshman that have shown some flashes of brilliance from time to time this year. With more playing time next year, I feel those flashes become far more consistent. CTM knows what she's doing and I believe that while we might start off a little worse next year, by the end of the season we'll be right back in the thick of it again.

Glad to see the Hoosiers start to cruise up 20+....but no way Fairfield should have been seeded there. From what I saw early on that's a much better team.
Agree. Should have been 7-9 or maybe a 10.

My concern with MM is that he gets NBA feedback and decides another school will be a better fit to get the experience he needs, vs (lets just say) what he's getting now.
He wouldn't last 5 seconds in the portal before a ton of schools come begging.
