Agreed. I mentioned in another thread that while I think every kid on the roster is a good kid, they aren't tough minded, save for Gallo, Walker, and Cupps. Compare the toughness (not talent) of our roster against Wisky's, PU's, Rutgers, KU, Auburn, and on and on, and ours stinks in comparison.

I may have dreamed this, but I could swear I heard Woodson say at the announcement presser that if he can't get us back to the top, you wouldn't have to fire him, he'd leave on his own.

One can only wish....

I truly feel bad for him. Everybody who has had contact with him says he's a wonderful person. I have no doubt. But when you fail, you fail. And for all concerned (including yourself) you need to move on to something you're good at.

Here's a positive...I won't have to pay for BTN+ and Peacock next year !

That's the pot calling the kettle black... Many believe we lost Garcia because of those 2 clowns and their incessant tweets of naming their kids after him if he committed, and crazy-ass questions when they talked to him. They were complete jerks jumping into the middle of the recruitment.

There is one positive that is coming out of all of this...(2 actually)

We won't have to subscribe to BTN+ or Peacock next year!

Gallo & Leal had 15 assists between them. Gallo has emerged as the "glue guy" for running the offense IMO.

I think Gallo has already committed to stay (assuming he doesn't want  to enter the portal)

Leal probably wants to get on with his R/E career, BUT he could see some significant playing time next year based on our "holes" in the roster. So he "might" come back, but I doubt it.

Can't see Mac leaving just yet. He's a major part of the offense. 

I just hope McNeely doesn't change his mind and request a release.

I would be surprised if Gallo leaves, even with a coaching change. Unless IU hires some unknown, unproven coach.

I'm probably the only non Minnesota fan that feels this way, but I like the Barn.  I hate playing there because it has usually been a tough place to play, but I like those old arenas.  

Did you ever attend a game there? 

I did on a couple of occasions when I lived up there, and boy was I under-whelmed. Lots of limited visibility seating. Bleachers thru out the entire barn. Raised floor (over a hockey rink) made most players uncomfortable to say the least. The only thing missing was some hay bales. Now that was 40 years ago, and I suspect they've done some sort of make over (read: lipstick on a pig).

Just listened to Woody's presser after the game. Body language was horrible. He looked like we lost by 15.

Kept saying how X is the difference in this team, and if we'd had X all season we'd be a better team. Well....news flash....you're not going to have X next year, so should we expect more slo-mo offense? And all the other issues we've suffered thru all year?
