Im just wondering what is going on...why are guys canceling all of a sudden.

Walker's was or is being rescheduled. CMW and staff went to go see Hickman yesterday for an in home, which is when Walker's visit was supposed to be. Hatfield has already narrowed his schools to 4 and focusing on them.

Gotta wonder if Woodson told Hatfield we're not going to be an inside out team next year and that's why Hatfield ran away? Hatfield would have done extremely well under the system that Woodson put forth the last three years. I have no proof but I think Hatfield declining his visit most likely means Woodson and staff are actually changing the type of basketball we're going to play next year.

Additionally, Woodson going to Hickman's house supports the idea that they're changing the offense next year. Why else would he? Hickman has all the evidence to suggest his shooting and abilities wouldn't be utilized correctly based on the history of our offense. If you're going to Hickman's house you're selling him on something different and telling him he's going to be part of that change.

I dont mean to get into semantics, but it's a bit different. He didnt decline a meeting. He had one set up for after the off period, which means he did have interest. I'm pretty sure he just found another team. I think he has a top three right now.

Good coaches have bad years. Woodson is mediocre at best and if it wasn't for his buddies he would never of been hired and certainly would of been fired. Absolute disaster for this program and I can't wait until the mor?? is gone!

same could be said for a lot things 👀

I would love to have 40% 3pt shooters across the board but if my point guard is elite at breaking down the defense and finishing off the dribble or finding shooters…guard his position..and has high basketball IQ…sign me up. You can surround him with some shooters (if you go this route you need to have a hella of shooter at the other guard spot.

He definitely has handles and great vision…shot needs to get tighter but like I said…coach him up on good shot selection and partner him with a great pick n roll partner and couple of shooters…he will be fine.

just stop with the 40% 3 pt shooting. It barely exists. There were 37 40% 3pt shooters and above in all of D1 college last year.

I have lines that divide what I will do myself or hire someone to do. Any plumbing? - definitely hired out. Electrical work? - depends. I don't mind replacing a light switch, electrical outlet or re-wiring a lamp, but things like replacing ceiling lights I leave to a pro. If I needed a window replaced, I'd hire it out, but just re-screening a storm window, I do myself.

Just last fall I hired some folks to rebuild two wooden decks at my house but did stone steps at another entry door myself. While the decks are not huge, it still would have taken forever for me to do by myself. Had the roofing replaced by them as well.

Maybe the way to describe it is if a job is better done by a contractor with a good insurance policy, that's the way to go. I do all the land work with my tractor, bush hog, blade and front loader.

I can do about anything. GF ordered unbeknownst to me a hot tub. It was delivered on a Monday. She started freaking out about it sitting in the drive for too long. So in three days after work. I built a 300 sf 3 tiered deck to support a 5000 lb hot tub.. My line is if it's fun vs pain in the ass..... and $$$$$ savings.

You know we have 6 open scholarships, right?  And we have probably 2 open starting positions at most, point guard and shooting guard.  If you think we’re getting 6 “great” players to come in for 2 starting spots, you probably don’t understand this stuff very well.

I appreciate you questioning my basketball acumen. Leland Walker is not coming to IU to come off the bench. Another high caliber guard is not coming here to split 20 minutes a game with Leland. Leland is a great back up to the back up to the back up of options. If you want to see the same team from the last 3 years of not shooting threes, go ahead. Bring in T Perk and Walker. let them play together. They average .5 and 1.2 3pt shots a game respectively.

Ok does it make me lesser of a man or I guess bad husband if I absolutely detest putting stuff together? We have a very generous MIL and occasionally she ships things. Last week we were sent some additional patio/deck furniture and chairs and other stuff.

Anyway my entire life (when I can afford) I buy preassembled. I hate putting stuff together. Almost makes my brain hurt. Anyway...she sent some chairs and tables and other stuff and all require assembling. I'm half tempted to return and pay the difference for assembled.

PS....she won't ever give us a gift card.

I like do things like this from time to time. I have always been in the construction industry, now white collar side. Get a handy man, or the app taskrabbit. I think you can get people for like $30/hr on taskrabbit
