Tampering is rampant across college athletics. It's just the way it is right now.
and there is no way to stop it. It's all back channel.

I’ve told people this 100 times but no one wants to listen. He will make more money at Purdue than NBA. His basketball career will likely be almost over once he leaves so why not stay.
I've seen Edey projected around 20. ''24 project #20 pick earnings... yr 1) $2.8M, yr 2) $2.9M, 3rd year option over $3M. I don't think he is making that kind of money at Purdue.

It’s insane that they have as many as UNC…
I think we all know UK, KU, Duke, UNC, Louisville….cheated over the last 20 years. Not convinced Nova or UConn did
under Calhoun???????

Overall, Purdue’s guards proved themselves against tough defenses both during the tournament and throughout the year. Sure UConn and others shut them down from time to time but the “Purdue’s guards will struggle against athletic teams” was struck down overall.
it's a different equation when you remove Edey. Time will tell.
Braden Smith is a dewd. Loyer is a douche.

I'm surprised that I haven't heard the name Sean Miller yet...

I'm surprised unless he qualifies for an academic scholarship. The family pretty flush?
not sure
@Stlboiler23 didn't you say Furst might be done with ball and focusing on medical studies? or did I make that up?

It will be interesting to see how they continue without Booie.

How long until Furst puts his name in?
HSN local Purdue guys were saying he's done playing and going to focus on medical studies...? something like that.

There really is no rivalry any more. Purdue IS Indiana basketball now. Remember when Kentucky raced past us in the mid nineties and never looked back.
Purdue is now doing the same thing.

Haven’t seen him play beyond highlights but he seems like an either/or with Hickman.
There's a lot in play. I would take either.

Dead period. Can they do that?
sorry if has been answered. but it's a dead period meaning no visits. phone calls can still be made.

Maybe she would take the pay raise and say she left because of the money and the way the incompetent men's coach treated her and her very successful program!

Hold on, hold on.
I spoke specifically about the AJ Storr situation. If that is true, "give me a million bucks KU", yeah that's greedy. I have no issue with Townsend transferring. Kid is good as shit, IMO.
ok well, i lost this one. yah.

I don't categorize that as greed.
in the case of Townsend, why wouldn't you transfer. He could be the next Dalton Knecht. From a nobody to lottery pick.

I think that specific case, if true, is greedy. I don't think all of them are.
even before the money involvement, there was greed in transferring in the form of more playing time.
