Stop me if you've heard this one. IU builds a lead and in about a minute time it starts going away. Usually with a miracle three with one second on the shot clock included.

Surprised at how few open shots IU gets when TJD is doubled almost every time he touches the ball. Then you notice not many of his teammates actually move when he has the ball. It's almost a still painting.

MR as the relief valve on the press? No. Race can pull that off not Malik. Not a strong enough handle or passer. Cut down on the turnovers and figure out the D - I like their chances. Race on the floor is huge.

The good is they are close after playing a poor last 15 min of the half and they've successfully attacked the press. The bad is they aren't keeping the ball in front of them and they're paying for it. Hoping Terps fade late and IU figures it out on D. The pace may actually help IU late.

Stupid play in the post. Maryland doubling on the dribble. If you go one way and spin back you're spinning into the help. At least four turnover from MR, TJD and Race. You go and shoot or pass. You don't spin back.

If PSU can pull this out its a big advantage for IU or Maryland. The tourney is setting up nicely for IU.

Will they attack the press to score or will it be a fight to get over half court? I'd like to see them attack when it's there but you have to put the ball in the right hands and have finishers in position and ready to make a play. Turnovers and rebounding. The formula never changes for IU. Still think the guards keeping the ball in front if them is huge so they are not scrambling on D and out of position.

The older Izzo gets the more ridiculous his interviews get after a loss.

Interesting how effective the full court press has been in the conference this season. Several games basically stolen late using it. Although IU uses it late when losing, like a lot of teams, I wouldn't mind seeing it more often. I doubt it happens though. Have to have the depth and usually requires a shot blocker to protect the rim.

Terps can be a matchup problem for IU. It comes down to IU guards keeping the ball in front of them and team rebounding. If IU guards are consistently forced to chase and everyone else is scrambling to support, it's going to be difficult to rebound and a lot of threes will be taken. Go IU!
