They have nobody to stop Trayce. Ride that all day. Defense is not locked in. One guy doing damage and they can't stay with him. Race gives effort but he's just not the same player since the injury. Malik playing better of late. Like to see him more and limit Race until he can offer more.

No time to blink. IU has to take this game or it could set up an end of season collapse.

Does the women's team have a recruiting tracker on this board? If not, one may be needed. Recruits should be lining up to play in this program.

IU has enough to make a long run in the postseason but the wasted possessions with just stupid turnovers and the unnecessary forced shots means they can lose at any time. You want to be elite? Elite doesn't run down and throw up the first forced, challenged shot they can get up. That's you, Tamar. That's you JHS and some others. Every unnecessarily bad play hurts your team and takes away from a good play you've made. Finally, the bench (not the head coach) got another technical. It happens once you say, ok. That's odd. It hapoen three or four times in a season and you've got a serious problem. Coaches T was needed. This road mugging by the refs can't go unchecked.

Would love it if the refs had to answer for this crap. The push off sent Trey five to six feet. Completely ran over him.

Lessons learned? 1)Show up both halves. 2) Plan on getting jobbed by the refs. Pathetic. 3) Don't let your bench give away points with a T.

Time to shut Race down for a week or two. He's bringing nothing right now and it's clear he can't jump or move very well.

The offense needs to figure it out. Once Trayce takes a dribble they double hard. He's taking too long to make the pass out. If he passes before they get there and if everyone else is moving to open spots it should put the D in scramble mode and somebody should be open. Unfortunately they can cheat off of almost everyone because nobody is shooting well. What should result in layups or open threes is ending in being hacked, no foul called and a turnover.

This team is bi.polar way too often on the road.

Yet to see an IU player touch the ball on offense without being fouled.

The D is nonexistent. Slow. Not rebounding. The offense has no answers to the double team. Coaches should be coming up with something but so far they look clueless too.

So, doubling Trayce but from a blind spot. Needs teammates to be cutting to open spots whike tge defense scrambles.

Big picture - three more at home and three on the road (Northwestern, MSU, purdue). Realistic - win tonight, take care of home court, and at worst you go 4-2 and finish overall 22-9 (13-7). Not bad. Find a way to take another one or two on the road, don't take a bad lose in the conf tourney, and your big dance seeding is looking very good. Hopefully playing close to home (Columbus, OH?).

Game 1 was decided on turnovers and FTs. If IU doesn't turn it over at a high rate and doesn't foul like crazy they will win this game. And this is a big game. It likely comes down to how effective they are in taking the ball out of TJDs hands. They beat Edey to death with the double team and he folded like a cheap tent with turnovers. Can TJD play better?
