Senior guards win out tonight Now they put TJD on the othercside. Bucket. Where's that been all night.

Malik just killing the comeback tonight. Two missed rebounds and another bad foul late. Fouling out on some really bad fouls. Unfortunately no Geronimo or Duncomb (leading IU in illnesses for the econd straight season). They say the best ability is availability. IU will look back on this game and see a big missed opportunity.

It's put up or shut up time if they want to win this one. Time for TJD to attack and force the refs to make a call.

Every game seemingly. Even home games at times feel like IU is the visitor. Again, this is an area CMW has to improve. You'd never see Izzo let his team get shafted like that without a fight with the refs.

As bad as the D has been with the fouling they've also given a ton of open threes. It could be much worse. Still, the offense hasn't done enough even if the D was better.

Can they post TJD on the other side so he can go to his left?

JHS just not there so far tonight. He's been off a lot lately in spite of the great performance last time out. Not fully recovered? Hitting the wall as a freshman?

Race the super duper Sr has to know turning baseline is a trap in that spot.

The press, even if it does not produce a steal, has IU starting their offense with about 17 seconds on the clock. Forcing them to start sooner than they like, limits actions tge can run, limits time for TJD to set up a move or pass out.

Their guards are doing the get touched throw your head back pretend foul. Thought that was illegal.

Great test for CMW and his assistants. If we don't see any adjustments or a more poised team in the second half it suggests they had no answers. That said, the lack of a true point guard is a glaring weakness in a game like this.

The crowd has them rattled but the real issue is Maryland is speeding them up. When you're not certain what you should do and overthinking rather than reacting you make mistakes. I'd say all the freshmen, Galloway and Bates are trying to go too fast.

What do they adjust? Frankly lucky the terps shot the three as poorly as they did. If Race was his old self I'd suggest high low with Trayce. As it is, the key is defense and rebounding. Gotta stop fouling and rebound to prevent the press. IU still not able to attack the press effectively. Should be guys open in the corners and in the lane.

Too many on the court are slower than the guy they're guarding. Too many want to reach to defend.

Fouling freshmen Banks and MR. Gotta figure it out. This is where CMW has to grow as a coach. He doesn't seem to be able to work the refs in their favor. I see him getting on them but nothing changes tge way it does with other coaches who are on the refs non-stop.

Can't take TJD off the floor. Not able to rebound without him leads to extra shots, extra scores and more press struggles.

Still working his way back. Wouldn't be surprised if it takes another week or more. Still looks quicker overall.

Not a fan of the guards having to look at the bench so often to figure out what to run. It's still better than under CAM where they had to look on every possession. At this point in the season they should have a good idea what to run. They do game plan.

D and rebounding will be especially important tonight if Maryland is going to press after every made basket.
