For those of you in the Louisville television market, the Marc Weinberg Facebook live broadcasts he does before big storms are worth your time for both the entertainment and information.
He is theatrical, that is for sure. I remember him during the 2012 tornadoes. He was caught somewhere between tears and pure hysteria.

Someone explain the NET to me. Specifically, how is Auburn not #1 in the NET
- Auburn has the best record in the country
- Auburn has 6 road victories. Gonzaga has 1.
- Auburn has 7 Quad 1 wins. Gonzaga has 3. Houston has ZERO. Arizona has 1
- Auburn has only played 3 Quad 4 games. Gonzaga has played 11. Houston has played 7. Arizona has played 6.
For heaven's sake NCAA. If all the metrics you use to compile your rating all favor one team, how is that team behind the other 3 in the overall ranking.

Rams (-4.5) @ Bengals
Bengals not only cover, they win it outright. Who Dey!!

Super Bowl Odds
Rams (-4.5) @ Bengals in a game played in the Rams Stadium

Well, KDB can't be caught, but I'm going to force him to make a Super Bowl pick by disqualifying him if he doesn't. Rams not covering last week took everyone down.

This is the anniversary of the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens. February 3rd, 1959 is often referred to as 'The Day the Music Died.'

I don't think you remember how good that team was. We were about 3 minutes away from beating Kentucky in the S16 and they went on to win a title that year.
Sheehey, Hulls, Cody, Vic, Watford, Yogi was a pretty good team. Out coached for sure, but out played, i don't know man, 6 out of 10?
Agreed. That team had several things this one doesn't.
- Consistent knockdown shooters (Hulls & Watford)
- A stud lockdown defender (Vic)
- A big who was comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter Zeller, though he could not shoot outside either)
I'll give this year's team the advantage in experience at PG and in coaching.
Talent wise, it would be something like a 8-2 advantage to the Zeller team. Woody might coach an extra win or 2 out of his guys, so I would say 6-4 the other way might be believable.

I forgot to mention that Dakich reminds everyone he shut down MJ in tournament.

More like 9-0, win BTT, win the NCAA
34-5, and Woody finally gets his hand on a National Championship, since he missed 76 and 81
Your scenario does not address what happens to Dakich.

0-9, we miss the tourney, all the players transfer, Woody gets fired, we hire Dakich, glory days return next season.

Daily Commute Musical Update
Okay, no actual commute to work today due to this 'little' ice storm outside today. But, here's a song I came across earlier this week. Some background. XM has a station dedicated to the Beatles. I love the Beatles. I should be in heaven. Correct? Unfortunately, not. Apparently, the strategy of this station is to play anything and everything except good Beatles music. I've probably only heard 'Let It Be' twice in the last 12 months. The only one of their best known songs I hear with any regularity is 'Hey Jude'.
What do we hear? A bunch of obscure, and frankly not that good, Beatles tunes along with anything and everything these guys did as a solo artist. John has some good solo stuff. As does Paul. George has some really solid solo tracks as well. Ringo? Ringo sounds like a dying frog. Hence, when I flipped over to the Beatles channel to see what was on, and it was this tune, we had an Immediate Channel Change.

I don't stream because just about the only time I listen is in the car, and we have XM for that. I have a very nice CD collection, but only pull it out if I'm home alone, especially when doing work around the house. I like to have it loud so I can hear it when I move from room to room. And, with the wife working from home full time, and with two kids hanging around (when the hell they moving out), being home alone just doesn't happen that often.

Daily Commute Musical Update
If I were to make a list of my favorite songs of all-time, this one would find itself in the Top 3. Carload of People Approved.

Very, very hard for me to stay in shape during the winter. The cold, damp weather comes along and my body wants to go into hibernation. At this point it's both psychological and physical.

There is a good chance the Flores could have got one of the open head coaching positions this year. He's a good coach. I would say this likely ends that. I'm not in his position, so I'm not going to be judgmental, but I would have thought he could bring about greater change by landing with a new team and winning games than by suing the NFL.

Daily Commute Musical Update
According to YouTube, this song has had 412,102,438 views. That means over 400 million people intentionally wasted 4 minutes of their life. Immediate Channel Change for this crap.

Crean should have tried to make a career out of tv after IU. He was pretty good at it.

I've always been a Matt Stafford fan. Would be rooting for him in the Super Bowl except for the fact he's playing teh Bengals.

1) Purdue
2) Illinois
3) Michigan State
4) Wisconsin
5) Ohio State
I really don't consider anyone else a rival. I know a lot of people count Michigan because they are often a good team. But, to me there is just not anything there. We rarely recruit the same players. Their recent coaches have all been easy to like/respect. And, here's the clincher. If Michigan was playing in the National Championship, unless it's against IU, I'm rooting for them. I'm not rooting for Purdue or Illinois in the Championship game under any circumstances. And, MSU, Wisconsin, and Ohio State would have to be playing a team I really dislike, such as UK or Duke.

I have extra hate for Illinois and Wisconsin but aren’t rivals. Just big ten opponents.
I associate 'hate' with being a rival. A team can be a rival without hate, However, if you hate a team, it seems they have to be considered a rival. Otherwise, where does the hate come from?

One day, my friend. One day. Have to convince the wife. She seems to be on the fence when I bring it up. Something silly like being close to grandkids. Although, I'm looking more to Arizona than I am Florida.
