Awesome for the Bengals to get the lead, but definitely don't feel like 3 was enough on that drive.

Was just telling my son the same thing.  They needed a TD.  Have to hope that Mahomes is a little unnerved.  He's king of looked that way the last two drives.

Not sure how Cincy doesn’t get flagged for the late hit

Kelce grabbed a face mask on same play while he was blocking.  Bengals should have been flagged, but Refs are calling NOTHING against Chiefs.  Higgins was clearly held in the end zone on the drive the Bengals kicked the field goal.

Cincinnati has got to get to 17 before KC gets to 28. Tough to have that drive stall after the big play to get over the 50.

Yep.  Waste of the defensive stop followed by the big pass to start the series.  The Bengals needed to score there.  Now, you're almost forced to get another quick defensive stop.  Even a 3 here by KC demoralizes the Bengals.

@5foulsmentioned the Bangles lead singer as someone he could listen to all the time sing almost anything and here is mine. Norah Jones has amazing voice. I was happy she came out with a Christmas album this year, which I bought. But here is one of her first songs I ever heard...

I love me some Norah Jones as well.  I have all of her early albums.  XM Radio played a bunch of her Christmas stuff on one of their Christmas stations, but it's rare I hear any of her regular music on any of their channels.

Interesting comparison of our common opponents at same location comparison.  They are almost polar opposites of each other.  Only 1 game in 5 had teh same outcome.

We lost at iowa.  They won at Iowa

    We both won at Nebraska

We lost at home against Michigan,  They won at home against Michigan.

We won at home against Purdue.  they lost at home against Purdue.

We won at Maryland.  They lost at Maryland.

  6. Went to the grocery earlier today and this one came on.  I'm not a Springsteen fan at all.  My wife absolutely hates his music.  But, this is one that resonates with me.  By far, my favorite song of his.  I'll listen to it.  I'll enjoy it.  But, Only if I'm in car by myself.

Buddy of mine is all baseball all the time. This whole Ortiz in but Bonds not thing still ticks him off. Sent me this stat this morning. Ortiz lifetime OBP was .380...if you turned all 762 HR's by Bonds into outs his OBP would still be .384.

I hope at some point when we get a new commissioner he or she steps in and says I'm undoing the rules. Bonds, Rose, Clemens, and a couple others are getting in the HOF.

I'm a Reds fan and grew up watching the Big Red Machine, but Rose being out of the Hall does not bother me as much as Bonds and Clemens not being in.  If you look at what happened in 1919, it's perfectly understandable that gambling can't be part of the game, and breaking that rule must be dealt with harshly.  By contrast, In the grand scheme of things, Bonds and Clemens taking steroids in the era that they did is like Kelvin Sampson having excessive calls/texts at IU.  the ultimate punishment simply does not fit the crime.

That OBP stat is absolutely amazing btw.

So how long is ESPN scroll going to keep saying breaking news of Tom Brady retirement.  It is at least 3 or 4 hours since it was announced so it is no longer breaking news.

Wait.  Tom Brady retired?  When did that happen?  I saw no such scroll on the Hallmark Channel.

  9. Sometimes I'll listen to a song more for who is singing it than the song itself.  Heard this one while on my way back from Indy today.  It's Carload of People Approved, for the sole reason that Susanna Hoffs is singing it.  She could sing me the phone book or the Purdue fight song and I would still love every minute of it.  By contrast, if say, Cher sang this song, the channel would immediately get changed.
