I'm watching the first half and I'm at the 9 minute mark. Seems like Geronimo already has 8 boards. And, I know I saw him get a few in the 2nd half as well. Just using his athleticism the way it should be used.

so... would we rather see Michigan beat MSU today because MSU is ahead of us or... do we figure they will finish ahead of us and want Mich to lose to help make sure they don't also finish ahead of us?
I want Purdue to lose.

Rico I used to be able to see all your comics but lately I can only see about half…not sure if you are getting them from another place or posting them differently or it’s just me…but I usually love them!

Yep, we’ve got a fairly sizeable snowstorm here right now (for us).
Whereabouts are you?

I’ll bet money we lose a few of the ones we’re supposed to win and win a few that we are supposed to lose. That’s our M.O.
Be careful with that kind of talk, I think @bluegrassIU is an agent with the Treasury Department. Either that or he is a full time Manny that takes care of his cousin's/sister's kids.

It's odd. Other than Chicago, which I have been to a ton because of work and a few weekend trips, I don't think I've been anywhere in Illinois in the last 25 years. Been all over a good part of the rest of the country, but all 'driving' trips have been to the South, the East, and the North (which is just Michigan). Any trips West of Indiana have been Illinois flyovers.

Obviously not something you would do this time of year, but in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is an area called Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. All sorts of outdoor activities, and absolutely breathtaking scenery. Majestic cliffs up and down the shoreline. We went a couple of years ago and did a guided boat tour on Lake Superior. But, for the more adventurous, you can also hike, kayak, etc.

I'm not saying that he punched the guy in the nuts or anything..
Did not realize that would be considered a foul.

When I see a 14-5 Xavier team seeded that much higher than a 15-5 Indiana team, it burns me up. Why is it like that? It's like that because they scheduled their non-conference a lot better. I've pasted their non-conference schedule results below. Instead of playing a bunch of sub-300 ranked teams, they played WINNABLE games against good, but not great competition. Our non-conference schedule needs to look more like that. KenPom rates their non-conference schedule at 150 and ours at 326.

I'm no doctor, but watching the whole situation play out with Rob the other night, I just can't come away with that being PF. Could the team be downplaying a strained Achilles? Certainly doesn't sound like it is torn, or we would have been told. But, based on what my eyes saw the other night, I have an easier time believing Achilles strain than I do PF.

Daily Commute Musical Update
Took the day off work, but was still out and about, and I know how important this is to your day. I have several friends that consider this a classic. I just don't get it. When it came on this afternoon, the result was Immediate Channel Change.

So I like to park in spaces far away from other cars. Stems from getting dinged a few years ago at Kroger here in town. Person left and we couldn't make out the license plate on security.
Anyway my pet peeve is if there are 8-10 open spaces around me why would someone park right next to me? It's ok to give a little space!
Absolutely annoys the shet out of me.

I don't like the videos that automatically open when you are reading a story online. But, what really irritates me is when the video has absolutely nothing to do with the story you are reading. Normally, it's the 2nd video that loads after the first is done when the printed story takes a while to read. But, here's a hint to these websites. YOU DON"T NEED TO LOAD A SECOND VIDEO! IF THE FIRST VIDEO AND THE PRINTED TEXT TELL THE INTENDED STORY, THAT"S ALL WE NEED!
Reading a story on ESPN this morning about the Bengals/Chiefs matchup. Kind of a long story from a text standpoint. The first, related video, runs its course. Here's the second video that loaded. WTF? Does someone reading a story about the Bengals/Chiefs matchup care about what Joel Embiid has to say after an NBA game? If you must have a second video (and there is no need to have one), at least make it football related, preferably about the teams the story is about.

Does anyone think Archie can get them off the ground if he takes that Louisville job? I'm not sure he can.
IU basketball is covered in the Louisville media. Louisville fans are all too familiar with Archie's performance at IU. If Archie applied, and there was a total of 100 candidates, Archie would be candidate #100 on that list. Mike Davis, Kelvin Sampson, and Tom Crean would all rank ahead of Archie in UL fans' list of preferred candidates.

Not familiar with that one either. But, if it's similar to the two I do know from the image in your post, then absolutely go get it. For me, they bring back treasured memories. For someone your age, you'll get a wealth of new information about the teams of the past.

Daily Commute Musical Update
This is one of those songs that falls into one category, but belongs in another. It's such a great song, it easily qualifies as Carload of people approved, but it's a much better fit for Only if I'm in car by myself. I like to block out the rest of the world when this one comes on, and that's hard to do when someone else is in the car.
XM radio has several stations 'devoted' to a particular artist (Beatles, Tom Petty, Garth, etc.). In Garth's case it's not a station I go to a lot. I like early Garth, but the station is found on the 'dial' with the country centric stations, and I don't venture in their direction that often. I could program my setup so Garth's is with other stations I listen to, but I'm pretty anal when it comes to certain things, and my stations need to appear in strict numerical order.
The 'Garth' Channel is a little misleading, They usually only play one or two of his songs an hour, and the rest of the time is filled with songs by other artists. And, occasionally there are short snippets where Garth talks about his music or the music of someone else. The trick to catching his songs on the station is to listen around the top of the hour. The vast majority of time, they play his song in the window between 5 till the hour and 5 after the hour.
Today, I got in the car after work and had a hankering for Garth, so I flipped back to his station. Hit the jackpot when they played this one. Probably my favorite of his.

I know. That's why it's surprising he did not have more. He obviously did not get 8 in the first half, but he was so active it seemed like it.
