  1. Doesn't this belong in the Dakich thread?
  2. Sorry, yes, the corona census in the hospital is it's highest since May 31.
  3. Indiana hospital census on 10/4 was the highest number since 5/31.
  4. Are all of these within the 'city'?
  5. I know Hillman did it, but I think the seasons were different back then and baseball started later. Plus, Hillman was not a potential 1st round pick in the MLB draft either. Just could not see Montgomery being on the basketball team during March when the baseball season has already ramped up.
  6. The seasons overlap so much in college.
  7. I'm not saying the Cowboys will do that. I'm just saying that if they get their defense fixed, they have a chance with 3 beatable non-conference teams on the schedule. The other 3 teams in the division are so bad, they have no chance.
  8. The only path to an 8-8 division winner I see is if the Cowboys sweep all 6 division games and beat 2 of 3 from the Cardinals, Vikings, and Bengals. The only home game among those 3 games is the Cardinals. Their other remaining non-conference foes are the Steelers, Ravens, and 49ers,
  9. The October 22nd Sunday night game could easily feature an 0-5-1 Eagles versus an 0-6 Giants team.
  10. It could literally even be a 5-10-1 division winner if the Eagles sweep their remaining 5 division games. They will be underdogs in every single non-division game the remainder of the season.
  11. My head started shaving itself when I was in my mid-20s.
  12. What he meant to say is that the Bears will lose in the early evening instead of mid-afternoon.
  13. Talk about taking your role seriously. The Chiefs scout team QB, who has been playing Newton in practice, has also tested positive for the virus. That is so 2020.
  14. Here's an oldie but a goodie There once was a girl from Nantuckit... Dang. I don't remember how the rest goes.
  15. Indiana reporting 1,495 new cases today. Highest single day total since the pandemic started. https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/
  16. When I was a kid, we had similar instructions on how to check for razor blades and things like that.
  17. I just got a text from Larry. You are officially off his Christmas Card list. Thought you might want to know.
  18. Vice President and his wife have tested negative. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/02/politics/pence-coronavirus/index.html
  19. Just be careful not to get those two things mixed up. Smelling the cinnamon may not be too bad. But, tasting the disinfectant wipes....
  20. I have no reason to believe it's fake news. One thing we need to consider regarding how this turns out is that the quality of medical attention he receives will exceed that of other obese 74 year old males that contract the virus. If he beats it, that does not mean it is not deadly. Available, top notch medical care comes with being President of the U.S. That type of care is not found in the vast majority of hospitals and communities in the U.S. If he gets seriously ill, or even dies, there is so much unknown about this virus that would not really tell us anything new either. Even among at-risk groups, the virus hits some harder than others. We don't know yet which side of that fence the President is. And, as we know, many people that have the virus are asymptomatic. He could legitimately be one of those as well.
  21. One of the challenges in a situation like this when it comes to contact tracing is whether the aide gave it to him or he gave it to her? Or, did a 3rd party give it to both? The timeline is such that just because her positive test came back first, there is no guarantee that's where he picked it up. It appears the positive results are only a few hours apart.
  22. Had not heard much lately about the loss of smell and/or taste related to Covid. New study points to them as being a very reliable indicator. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/01/health/covid-19-symptom-smell-loss-taste-loss-study-wellness/index.html
