  1. Story claims woman died on plane in July. Just now getting counted as a Covid death. Call me skeptical. The woman may have had Covid. But, she died of something else (heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, etc.), A person well enough to get on a plane does not die of Covid 30 ,minutes later. And, it goes without saying the validity of any death reported 3 months later than it happened has to be called into question. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/20/us/woman-dies-of-covid-on-plane-trnd/index.html
  2. Pritchard just didn't want to have to remember a new name when talking to the head coach. He can still say 'Hey Nate, we should do this".
  3. Dolphins going with Tua at QB. Kind of surprising as Fitzpatrick has them playing pretty well. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30154407/source-miami-dolphins-naming-tua-tagovailoa-starting-quarterback
  4. Last I say on this because I don't want to cross over into something that breaks the board rules. You are providing one example. Sure, there are religious people that refuse to wear a mask. But, there are people of all beliefs, race, age, sex, etc. that refuse as well. Many teens and college age adults ignore the mask rules. My daughter got quarantined from school earlier this year because she sat next to a kid in class that was positive. This is high school. The kid would not wear her mask in the classroom because it's only required in common areas and not the classroom. I've seen high school sports fans that take their masks off the second they get through the gate even though the rule is you are supposed to keep it on the entire game, I saw a guy in the grocery the other night with his wife and kid. The guy was not wearing a mask and neither was the kid (who I would put at 7 or 8). Heck, I've got a 90 year old uncle who only ends up in a church for funerals who won't wear a mask. Yes, the BBQ owner may be religious. But, it's unfair to paint a large brush against religion in regards to mask wearing.
  5. I'm not sure religion has anything to do with it. The people I know that are against mask wearing have never set foot in a church in their entire life.
  6. I always wondered why 'no pants' was not part of the no shoes, no shirt message.
  7. I Until a vaccine arrives, I think they should be worn in all public indoor places, and at outdoor events where social distancing is not possible. And, while we are on the subject, it frustrates me when people wear them wrong. I was at the grocery yesterday and saw 3-4 people that had the mask covering their mouth, but not their nose.
  8. Article describes how lifting a mask mandate has resulted in the Czech republic going from being one of the most successful countries in fighting the virus to one that is experiencing a significant spike https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/19/europe/czech-republic-coronavirus-intl/index.html
  9. It was satellite radio. I'm not sure which station, I flip constantly. Was so stunned it was on the air, I forgot to look to see what station was playing it.
  10. I heard this on the radio yesterday for probably the first time in 40 years. Quite possibly the strangest song ever recorded and one of the more controversial. It teases that a man is having a mental breakdown over the loss of his girlfriend, but in the end, you find out it was his dog running away that has upset him so much. Title of the song is They're coming to take me away. By Napoleon XIV.
  11. Hate to hear that Mile. My thoughts are with her.
  12. Spread is occurring at home. Really hard to prevent. I don't know what the answer is.
  13. What do you mean? The dude only missed 20 three point shots in his entire NBA career.
  14. All this schedule juggling is fine and dandy until it happens to a team twice, or they have already used their bye week.
  15. There is some postseason baseball on if you're looking for something to watch. Rays vs Astros tied at 3 in 9th.
  16. You're not a Bengals fan, are you.
  17. Illinois had their third highest total of new cases today with 4,015 . In fact, the highest number of cases on September 3rd was such an outlier, it may have been a situation where positive cases were hoarded and reported all at once. Today may be their second highest. Maybe that quarantine for crossing state lines should work both ways.
  18. Chances are you will fly through Indiana airspace. And, I guess you should leave your IU attire at home
  19. Another thing I though of is the casinos in Indiana. A lot of Chicagoans go to those casinos. Is the State of Illionois going to monitor their own residents that cross the border and return a few hours later? It's a stupid move that is impossible to manage that someone came up with in hopes of looking like they are really doing something.
  20. Indiana should do the same. Crime would go down.
  21. Seriously, there are thousands of people who work in Chicago that live in Indiana. How's that going to work.
  22. Good thing the Colts already played the Bears.
  23. Will Trevor Lawrence pull a John Elway and/or Eli Manning and refuse to go to an organization? If I'm in next year's draft, I'm perfectly content being the #2 pick. Can't imagine anyone is going to be thrilled to hear their name called by the Jets.
  24. DJ tests positive for Covid. Out this week.
