  1. So, my main course for dinner tonight would not appeal to you?
  2. ESPN's all time Pacers team. No Paul George. Do you agree or disagree with this group? Indiana Pacers G: Freddie Lewis G: Reggie Miller F: Roger Brown F: George McGinnis 😄 Mel Daniels
  3. My son does not own a pair of jeans. He has one pair of dress pants for special occasions and a couple of pairs of sweats. Everything else is shorts. But, sweats are against the dress code for school, so even if it's zero degrees out, he wears short (when there actually is school).
  4. So. if you make multiple trips out in a single a day, you're wearing a minimum of 3 sets of clothing that day.
  5. I'm concerned he's using the same approach for underwear that he is for socks, but I'm not going to ask.
  6. Not a sports related trivia question, but here goes. In the world of coronavirus. How many days in a row can my teenage son wear the same pair of socks? The final answer is still a TBD, but we're approaching double digits.
  7. Maroth in 2003. Lolich in 1974. There were actually FIVE 20 game losers in '74. Lolich - Tigers Bill Bonham - Cubs Randy Jones - Padres Steve rogers - Expos Clyde Wright - Brewers
  8. If you meant #2, then yes, you are correct. He was a World Series MVP.
  9. No. #1 was pretty much a non-name guy. As Billingsley stated, he pitched for the Tigers. He was active in the majors between 2002-2007.
  10. Another hint on #2. The said pitcher also won 25 games in a season during the 1970's and completed 29 games that year.
  11. Wilbur lost 20 twice in the 70's, but did not complete 27 games in one of those seasons.
  12. No. Brian Kingman lost 20 games in 1980, but only completed 10 of them. Hint: The answer to the second question pitched for the same organization as the answer to the first question.
  13. I'll give you a hint on the second one once a couple of others take a stab at it.
  14. The last player to do it did play for Detroit. I'll leave the question open for a while to see if someone can come up with the name. Phil Niekro lost 20 games twice in the 1970's and had 20 or more complete games each time. But he did NOT complete 27 games in either of those seasons. He completed 23 & 20 in his two 20 loss years.
  15. Two part question (different answers). Since 1970, there have been 16 instances where a MLB pitcher lost 20 games in a season. After 1980, only one pitcher has achieved that dubious honor. Name him. One of the pitchers who lost 20 games since 1970 did it in a season where he threw 27 complete games. Name him.
  16. I kind of see it like you do. One or two backups would not necessarily worry me, but we've handed out more than that.
  17. But, what if the backup plans accept before the priorities, leaving no schollies available.
  18. I wonder what the end game is for counting people that have the virus, but dies of other things, as Covid deaths. Would someone that has cancer but dies of alcohol poisoning be classified as a cancer death? No, of course not.
  19. I'm always a year behind on any book series I read. I don't read hardbacks, large paperbacks, or own a kindle. I wait for the mass market paperback. I just like the feel of that size book better. So, for me, the 'next' Silva book comes out on May 26th, when 'The New Girl' paperback is released. I'll likely be at the store that day to pick it up.
  20. Did you discover this on your own or hear about it from somewhere else? I just googled 'neighborhood duck iPhone' to get more background and there were no hits.
  21. Technically, only two of them do.
