  1. My wife has us going to a pre-Valentine’s/Mardi Gras party of all things on Saturday night, so I’ll have to watch the tape….I hope I’m pleasantly surprised.
  2. I’m sure Gunn and Banks have aspirations of playing professional ball at some level. The upside is their athletic ability, and I’m sure that’s why they’ve been ahead of Leal during the course of the season, but it’s apparent that he’s what we need at this point - a fundamentally sound rebounding guard that’s a 3pt threat. My only question is why did it take this long to figure it out?
  3. A dead ringer! Maybe he has a second job.
  4. Not trying to be argumentative, but hard to develop when you’re only getting a few minutes here and there. Last night against Minnesota he saw the floor for 3 minutes….not a lot for a “5 star” player.
  5. You may be right, but in today’s world it’s so easy to pack your bags and go somewhere else, if things don’t seem to be going as you expected….just saying.
  6. Could be similar to the Ware situation at Oregon.
  7. Oh, such is the life of a Hoosier fan.
  8. Not going to complain about a win, but if we hit our FTs (21-31) things would be much easier.
  9. I wouldn’t get carried away, but I’ll cut you some slack, because tonight he was a game changer.
  10. Whose seat is the hottest…..Howard or Holtmann?
  11. Just play good D… no fouls!
  12. Once again, we don’t rebound when it matters most, and give them another chance.
  13. Our bench has a grand total of 2 pts!
  14. Galloway is having a decent game, but overall our guard play is just soooo bad!
  15. When you lose at home by 14 to Penn St what do you expect? Being a 6pt underdog is probably about right. I hope it’s that close, because if it is, we just might have a chance to win.
  16. I believe Woodson is back for year 4 regardless what happens the rest of the season, so let’s concentrate on how we can improve next year. With this roster and the lack of production from our guards, even if we made the tournament, we were probably one and out. With the possibilty of MgBako, Reneau and McNeeley on the wing and front court, we have a chance to be a much better team next year. Let’s assume Reneau continues to improve, MgBako makes the same kind of leap in year 2 as Reneau and McNeeley is as good as advertised, then the sky’s the limit, with a couple of really good additions at guard. We’ll also need a complete reset from the coaching staff on both sides of the ball. Let’s build a team that not only makes the tournament, but has a chance to win the whole thing.
  17. For what’s it’s worth, I thought it was funny. Everybody needs to lighten up….the season’s disaster, but certainly not the end of the world. 😀
  18. I have to admit I was extremely frustrated after Saturday’s loss, but let’s get real, we’re not going to fire Woodson for one mediocre season, so let’s get behind this team, and start preparing for next year…we have a lot to build on. All this talk about firing coach is a real drag on the program and recruiting.
  19. Two teams spiraling out of control…a preview of the NIT.
  20. Not to rub salt in the wound, but Dalton Knecht is averaging 31.8 ppg over Tennessee’s last 6 games.
