The Tigers and Giants have been in a rain delay for 4 and a half hours. This is every team's worst scheduling nightmare: the final game of an interleague series between two teams who are three time zones apart with a steady rain that just won't stop.

Probably not a game that has to be made up for playoff purposes.

Garrit Cole seems to be in mid-season form. He improved to 4-0 and struck out 10 batters in a 2-0 win over the Twinkies!! Cole's era is an awesome 0.95, I probably just jinxed him....

I imagine it is time for Cole to hit the IL.

Good deal for Cubs. Series win at LA is never taken lightly. Without last night we should have swept them. No doubt Dodgers are class of NL but we caught them at a good time. Seem to be in a funk with the bats.

We get Bellinger back to the . 260-.270 range with average power numbers for him, we'll be in pretty good shape

Why Oh Why can't Yankees players stay healthy???

I see where Giancarlo Stanton ends up on the IL with a suspected hamstring and scheduled MRI tomorrow. He joins fellow player, Josh Donaldson, and at least D.J. LaMahieu comes off the list today.....

Sheesh!!

Found this on the Yankees fan forum about Stanton.. Apparently he has a Grade 2 strain and could be a minimim of 4 weeks for recovery

"Per YES, Stanton has been on the IL for 40% of games since 2019. That’s simply amazing."

YIKES!!  😒
