STOP the PRESSES......  STOP the PRESSES!!!!!

The Rays showed they are mortal after all bt losing tonight to the Blue Jays!!

But all is not well as the Yankees lost to a team they have owned the past few years, losing 4-3 to the Twinkies

Carry on......

Sadly, I still think the Yanks win the division.

Reds beats the Phillies 13-0. The Phillies down 8-0 in the bottom of the 8th brought in a position player to pitch and he gave up 5 runs.

Ashcraft 6IP 0 runs

Will Myers 4-5 2HR, 5 RBI

Senzel got his first hit of the year in the 8th but it was against a position player pitching.

David Ross might start getting Bell a run for his $ in bullpen management. Loss once again squarely on not only who they brought in (Fulmer) but how they pitched to Peralta with 1st Base open. 3rd loss this year squarely on our Coach and our team doesn't have much margin for error anyway. Thompson is our best reliever and can go 45 pitches. Ross pulled him at 27 and let the gas cans come in.

Oh and we had the bases loaded in 8th with 1 out and our franchise players Happ and Suzuki both struck out.

Sort of a cool moment yesterday for a Tigers team that won't have many of them: Spencer Torkelson (new franchise guy) drove in the tying run in the 8th inning, then Miguel Cabrera (old franchise guy) singled in the winning run in the 11th.

A couple Mendoza line dudes coming up clutch.

Sparky would be proud.

Reds pretty much have no shot when their 4th and 5th starters pitched. Overton has a 11.45 era and now is on the DL. Cessa came into today's game with a 7.00 era and today has given up 7 runs in the first inning and still only has 1 out.

At least Bell won't give you bullpen anxiety today.

Top of the first is finally over with Phillies up 9-0. Bell kept Cessa in for  hole inning and faced 13 batters
